I left 4 items - a package with 2 toy James Bond cars, a tan and white round straw tray with handles, gift package of 16 various scents, and a FAO Schwartz mug and chocolate set - at American Post and ****** to be packaged and shipped to my relatives in Marietta, GA on December 2, 2021 around 5:15 pm pacific time.The owner charged me $88 and stated he sent the package via UPS because it was cheaper than the post office. When I got home, I noticed the receipt did not have an UPS tracking number so I called to ask for it. A lady who works there gave me tracking number 1ZXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. I entered the number on the UPS website to track it and the site showed the number as invalid, please contact sender. I called American Post and ****** and **** told me since the package was left at 5:15 pm, UPS had not entered it into their system! Since American Post and ****** is an authorized UPS shipper, he would have scanned the label on the package and it would have entered UPS system as label created on 12/2/21 at 5:15 pm. I know whenever UPS picks up packages, they scan them when the label is created. Nevertheless, I said okay. On Friday, I entered the tracking number again on the UPS website and it still came up as invalid. I emailed, faxed, called American Post and ****** but received not response and no resolution to where my shipment is or the correct tracking number. I emailed and faxed them again on Saturday, 12/4/21 but received no response. It is now 5 days later and I have not heard back regarding my inquiries. Please help. Thank you.Business response

We package and ship the items she has mentioned, yes she was in after the UPS driver had picked up the packages for that day. Her package left the next business day and that's when the UPS driver would scan her package. When Ms. ********* called the first time I spoke to her and mentioned we did not have a tracking number yet.The second time she called my coworker gave her the tracking number , unfortunately only the last number was given incorrectly. When she emailed 3 times and sent a fax , these were done after hours. I do not check these methods after hours.However when I arrived at work Monday morning I called Ms. ********* just after 8.30am and corrected the mistake and informed her that the package would be delivered by the 10th of December.The package was delivered on the 9th a day earlier . If there is anything else I can help with please let me know.
