Pool service company had not been showing up for several weeks yet still billing for full monthly service. From December to March I have had intermittent service of once or twice a month when I have paid for weekly service. We eventually decided to part ways but my auto payment system with my bank still paid an additional service of $75 in addition to the $150 I had been paying monthly. The auto payment was too late to stop so I asked them to send me back the check so I could get it voided out but he never returned it. I made several attempts to collect the money back on 3/1, 3/23, 4/12. The monthly amounts of $150 were also paid for several months while the promised services were not completed but the $75 was after we decided not to do business together and they kept that money as well.Business response

This is absolutely false. No checks were from my business after we agreed to no longer resume service. Service dates and question were during hard-core weather events from the worst rain season we’ve seen in over a decade. No follow up attempts or contacts were received.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:Attached are my several emails requesting the check back and as you can see he responded to my email on 03/01/2023 so he cannot state that he didn't receive it. I gave several chances to return the check and advised I would be filing a complaint if not received by a certain date. At the time I only wanted by $75 back but now I feel I am deserving of the several months of service I paid for and did not receive. I understand that it was raining on and off then but does that mean I have to pay for a service I'm not getting? Doesn't sound valid. I would like 1 months payment of $150 plus the $75 for a total of $225 even though I paid since December for weekly service and maybe had 2-3 services.
