In November 2022, I had my son's car towed to ******** shop ****** Lander avenue ***********. **************** took a month to repair the vehicle and on 12/09/22, I called ****** to inquire on the status of the vehicle He stated I could pick it up. On 12/09/22, I picked up the vehicle and paid him $1,897.23. He stated that the vehicle would "no longer leak oil and was as good as new", but it continued to leak even more oil. I towed the vehicle in several months later and **************** stalled several months saying a family member had passed away. He eventually stated that the vehicle was unreparable and told me to tow the car away. He claimed that the "crankshaft shift was broken and would require the engine be removed and he could not do this work." He stated that I should just junk the vehicle. **************** also claims to have changed the valve cover gasket, but the sparkplugs are seeped in oil. I now realize that he wanted me to junk the car to cover up his fraud. I discussed this matter with another mechanic who verified said repairs were not done and diagnosis was incorrect. He also stated that **************** is purposely stalling. On Nov 14, I along with a friend/witness ( *************************) confronted **************** and respectfully requested that he repair the vehicle or refund my money. **************** again lied using double talk and raised his voice to me and my friend stating that she was calling him a *****. We left and I called him two days later to give him a second chance. He told me to bring the vehicle in on Nov 24th to repair. On that date he was not in the shop and did not inform me that he would not be there. Another friend who referred me to ****** informed me that same month he threatened to ******************* and was given a refund. I asked him why he referred me to ****** and my friend said that ****** was not a ***** before, but perhaps was growing senile. I am deeply disturbed by *************** who claimed that he was a ********* and an honest man, but he is not.
