I request a refund of $32.16 for overcharges on my "Drive ******** order picked up on 1/21/2024. The requested refund pertains to the Safeway store on Diablo Blvd. in ******, **.The requested refund of $32.16 is based on the following:1. I placed an order on 1/20/2024 for Drive ******** with pickup on 1/21/2024. The total cost for the order was $40.06, as stated in the email confirmation sent by Safeway on 1/20/24.2. On 1/21/2024, I received an email from Safeway stating that my Drive Up and Go Order was ready for pick up. However, the total cost was now $72.22, and increase of $32.16 from the email confirmation sent by Safeway on 1/20/24.3. The $72.22 charged by Safeway did not reflect any discounts for clipped coupons, even though I had clipped the coupons as demonstrated in email confirmation sent by Safeway on 1/20/24 ( for a total cost of $40.06).4. I went to the Safeway store on 1/21/2024, on Diablo Blvd. in ******, **, to pick up my Drive ******* Order. But first, I spoke with the store's Shift Manager and explained that I had been overcharged by $32.16 for my order. 5. The store's shift manager said that he could not provide a refund of $32.16 for the overcharge. Instead, I would have to contact "internet sales" at ************. The shift manager assured me that I could pick up my order and then get a refund for the overcharge by calling ************.6. I picked up my order, went home, and called ************. After waiting for two hours on the phone to talk with a Safeway customer service representative, ********************** disconnected the call without my having talked to anyone.7. I have now spent hours trying to get Safeway to correct the overcharge and provide a refund of $32.16. Please provide the refund as soon as possible.
