      on june 21st at 6;00 am your company came to my property at ********************************************************. you towed vehicles that werent tagged and damage property. you were also seen taking things from my truck. i already sent a letter of intend to *** with settlement demand to your company owner ***********************. i have all the proof that your company damage and stole my property. with all the research i have collected on your company this isnt the first time your company has done this. all in one towing is a fraud and taking advantage of people situations. they see something they want and take it.

      Business response

      07/22/2024

      We acted at the request of the **************************** to remove abandoned vehicles from your property.  Vehicles were tagged by the **** prior to our arrival, and we picked up those and only those, vehicles that were requested by **** and marked with an X.  We did not take anything that we were not directed by the **** to pick up.  **** was on scene every time we were on location.  There were, however, other people who came to your property, while we were there, who were taking cars. I am attaching photos and license plates of others that were there loading vehicles.  These people may have taken something that was not supposed to be taken, but they are NOT us, and it was not at our direction.  **** was called by their abatement officer on scene and notified that these people were there.  I suggest you take this up with ****.  We are not responsible for anything missing from your location that didn't have an X on it.

      I am rejecting this response because: u did take vehicles that werent marked. there is still vehicles marked with a x here. you took a historic vehicle that wasnt marked for yourself and i have witness that are willing to testify and one of them recorded confronting your company about having a vehicle on your tow truck that wasnt marked. your company doesnt even know what u have. u sent me a vehicle report saying u got a pickup with a vin number that doesnt even go to the pickup. the vin number goes to car i sold before abatement showed up. so im filing a lawsuit against your company if u dont want this to go to court and have evrything i have dug up on the owner and your company i sent a letter of intent to you. i want my property back..the damage to my truck fixed and the ****** that wasnt tagged back and i wont take this to court. but if you chose not to agree then im going to take this matter all the way and publish everything i have on your company. ill blast it all over social media so people can see this is not the first time and that your business is taking advantage of people.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

      Please see the attached letter from *********************, head of the Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Program for the ***************** Department.  He clearly states that no cars were removed from her property (**************).  He is also clear that his officers were on scene when we abated the vehicles on their list for pickup.  Not ONE of those vehicles was registered to ****************.  There were over 100 cars on eleven properties and we were requested to pick up 56 of those cars, which we did under the authority and in the presence of CLPD.  None of those cars were ****************.  The property where the cars were abated were NOT the property of **************** either.  Her statements are false and we owe her nothing.  As I stated in my first response, there were other people coming and going off of property removing cars. Photos with license plates were included in my first response. Vehicles are tagged by CLPD and owners have 10 days to move them prior to being towed by CLPD.  Presumably, the owners of cars were making arrangements to have them moved.  Nothing we towed was on her property, per *********************, and nothing we towed was owned by her, also **********.

      It is clear that we are not responsible as she accuses and she is lying.  CLPD has her address.  We have filed a complaint with them against her.

      Thank you for your attention in this matter.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      The clpd sent me tickets for multiple cars and you didn't tow 56 cars. You are lying and I got all the proof I need. Your company damage my truck stole my tools and more. Showed up at my house at 6:00 am which I got proof of that cause you guys called the police on someone who was at my house helping us move cars. I'll see you in court

      Ten cuidado, este negocio se aprovechar de ti.Be CAREFUL this business ruins lives! 340$/hr,140$storage/gate fee, 160$ to access belongings, is meant for insurance's to pay. Outrageous pricing that occasionally finds a local normal person who pays out of pocket. Extra charge If CHP calls! Dosent matter you called your own tow. Bleeding? Need an ambulance? Unless you stay w vehicle, no note,no friend,no one can keep them from STEALING your car/truck! Already a bad reputation for failing smogs for un-needed services, all in one towing are pirates. Actual evil pirates. This is no joke. I was in the ** hearing them say If I wanted my child's booster seat it would be 640$ or my car was "theirs". My car is worth over 10k, how can it be "theirs"? I have a title and key! Don't I have rights? I didn't ask for services. Possession being 9/10 the law,...,the CHP taking report just shrugged.Their cartel stretches for three counties. They have over twenty employees. Price fixing and exaggerated charges drives up the costs for everyone. Lives are ruined. Those struggling to keep vehicles mechanically sound, insured,and safe for their families cannot face these tow truck predators and hope to win CHP is aware that certain companies charge more then others but remains neutral on pricing and selection of companies who apply to be on rotation. Legal robbery. Por favor, aconseje a todos los amigos y familiares que eviten esta empresa de remolque a toda ******

      Complaint: 18612499

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I sent a friend back to the accident scene who was attempting to pull my car out of the ditch

      I also had already called for my own tow. From the moment of the accident I spoke to all in one towing 1:10min after accident.,and the woman I spoke to said there was an additional 160$ amount called a "gate fee".
      This fee is for someone to access their own vehicle! So that fee was not applied be cause I went without my belongings and child seat. How can there be a storage fee when I was speaking to them an hour ten minutes after my accident? When I argued about this fee the woman said she would "hang up on me".I paid AAA for a tow I never recieved because all in one is closer

      so to summarize:Yes my car was in a ditch but no it was not obstructing the road. I sent a person to be w my car who could not stop all in one from towing me. When I called all in one I was within 1:30min of the incident and I was already being charged for a full hour of towing which is absurd. The accident was less than 2-3miles away they did not spend an hour towing and did not even have my car stored for a day. They do have a fee for accessing belongings which is 160$ and they do charge taxes and fees which made the total quoted to me over the phone at 630$

      340/hr is not reasonable. The storage fee was not reasonable for me speaking to them with my vehicle still on their truck. 160 gate fee is not reasonable and to be told and I quote "if you don't pay 630$ your car is ours" is not reasonable

      I paid AAA 75$ for a tow I never recieved that had a towing range of 5 miles as a price comparison to all in one's

      have ***** call me and we can discuss changes to their protocols for future

      The car was stolen from me and time wrecked but this business has my car in impound and will not allow me to get the paperwork nor my belongings out of my vehicle due to the car not being in my name yet. Told me I need to put it in my name before I can get my stuff out of it but yet won't allow me to get the paperwork so I can go put my car in my name.

      Business response

      06/27/2022

      Hi *******;

      I am sorry you are having trouble.  I need more information to help you resolve the issue.  Can you please tell me where the vehicle was picked up?  We have three separate locations.  Also, can you tell me if your name is on the sale paperwork?  The law says we are to release the car, or items in the car, to the registered owner.  I have to be able to walk into a court of law and prove that I released property or the vehicle to the proper person.  We are not in any way, trying to keep you from the vehicle or your possessions; we just need to have the documentation that proves we released to the legitimate owner.  This becomes complicated when a vehicle is stolen and the person who "owns" it, never put it into their name.  It does not "legally" belong to them, until the transfer happens.  Because your car was stolen before you put it into your name, your name does not show up anywhere on the legal documents.  If your name is on the title or sale documents, I can help you.  If the original owner did not put your name on it, then I will need to get documents from them saying they sold it to you.  A substitute title will also work for this.

      I am really sorry that it is inconvenient, but we have people who try to pick things up that don't belong to them and we are required to make sure that only the registered owner has access to a vehicle.  If you can email me where the vehicle is, what the year, make and model is, and when it came in, I will be able to locate it and hopefully assist you in getting all this resolved.  My email address is *******************.  Again, I am sorry you are having trouble.  We just need to go through the process the proper way so that we are both covered.  Transferring a vehicle into your name, immediately after purchase, is your best defense to keep something like this from happening.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      Sincerely,

      ***************************** My car was picked up in ********** off of *****************. All the paperwork that I have for the car is in the car hence why I'm unable to prove that I am the owner of the car for they won't even give me the paperwork so I can show them that I bought the car.

      I purchased a vehicle from All In One Towing/Auto Repair on Feb 28,2022 It was a Friday evening and the seller told me the car was good to go .. the car did not have plates and I was told DMV was open and I could make it there before they closed. When I asked them about smogging the vehicle they told me it would be a conflict of interest for them to smog.. being in a desperate need of a car I trusted them.. gave them cash $2500 and drove off the lot On the way to DMV the engine light went on..DMV was closed.. realized I would not be able to register this evening.. could not drive around town with a vehicle with no plates.Basically I am claiming that they knew the vehicle would not pass smog.. they knew DMV was closed because of a recent fire and would not be open Friday or Saturday and that Monday was a holiday.. I returned the car to the lot Saturday morning and was told by the smog man that I would have to return Monday morning and to keep the key and talk to the boss man Monday morning.Met with him Monday and was told tough tootsies .. he would not refund the money and basically told me smogging would be a waste of money since the engine light came on but that he could do a computer inspection to see what the problem was and charge me $300. Then I receive a letter from him charging me for storage $1320 and he was going to sell the vehicle to another person.

      Business response

      Sir;

      Please see the attached document that you signed when you purchased this vehicle.  It states that you understand you are buying an "as is" vehicle.  Our service manager went over that with you when you bought the car.  We tell all potential purchasers that what we know about the vehicle is that it was being driven when it was impounded.  We are not required to smog them prior to purchase.  We are required to remove the license plates before they leave our possession.  The "good to go" comment you claim to have been made, was a reference to the completion of your paperwork, not a warranty of your purchase.  We try to be VERY CLEAR with people when they buy a lien vehicle.  I recently had a nephew who purchased a vehicle here that looked good, but blew a head gasket a few weeks later.  We put money into the car and it did not pan out for us.  It is not the fault of this company.  It is simply that the vehicles are unknown to anyone here and, as such, are a ******. That is why they are inexpensive....because we don't know about them.  You acknowledged that when you signed the buyer's acknowledgment.

      When you brought the car in to be smogged, the check engine light had come on.  The reason it comes on can be anything from the gas cap not being put on tight enough, to the vehicle being jump started and wiping out the computer's communication with the emissions system to something more serious.  You became instantly demanding and accusatory when our technician told you it was not going to pass because of the light.  Your aggressive behavior was the reason you were told to take it somewhere else, not because we cannot smog a lien. You may have been able to find out why your light was on, but demanding and intimidating is not the proper way to try to find out.

      Finally, you left your vehicle parked partially on our lot and partially on the sidewalk.  We were forced to move it.  It sat here several days.  We have no keys.  It was taken to one of our storage facilities and liened again, because you abandoned it.  That is why you got the paperwork you received in the mail.
