I ordered a watch on 7/24/2024 Transaction ID and Receipt ***************** for a C5 Design Navy Solar 40MM. Watch received on 7/29/2024 with defective dial and would not keep accurate time. I returned item on Vaer Website for defective product and received an online credit to purchase another of the same and I did on 8/1/2024 Order # ******. **** confirmed thay would send me a new watch. Mailed Defective item back to VAER confirmed delievery was received by **** Tracking #**** 1361 0602 3607 7452 02.Customer service will nopt respond or verify thay have received or sent my replacemnet watch Emails usuallay take minumum 2 days to respond. They offer no phone number for customers to call. I have now requested a cancellation and refund of all money by email and have received no response.Initial Complaint

Bought a watch that broke under warranty less than year old and cannot get a single bit of assistance from Vaer on where to send fir repair it is seriously bad customer care and a legitimate violation of their supposed warranty !Initial Complaint

I purchased a G5 GMT watch from Vaer Watches. My credit card was charged arount $700 on 5/19/23. The company literature at the time of purchase stated to expect delivery by mid-June.In mid-June I received eMail notification that the delivery would be delayed to the end of June. I received further eMail notification at the end of June that delivery would be delyed to the last week of June or first week of July at the latest. I received a notice of shipping 7/17/23 with a tracking number. Clicking the tracking number yielded a message that delivery had been cancelled by Vaer. I contacted **** directly and received an eMail response from ********************* ("founder") stating the mailing label had been printed too soon and my product would be shipped within the next 1-2 days. I received a second notice of shipping a week later and clicking on the tracking number again yielded a message that this delivery had also been cancelled by ****. I again contacted **** and received an eMail response from him that they were having trouble with their warehouse and expected my product to be shipped within the next 1-2 days. Two more weeks have gone by and I have not received the product I paid for almost three months ago. I have asked for either product or a refund with interest from the time of purchase on three occasions now and my messages are now being ignored. My Vaer order number is # *****.Initial Complaint

Hello, I purchased a watch from this vendor for $949 + tax. When I received it initially I had to work through multiple issues that required it to be sent back and forth for repairs. After all that, I was able to start wearing the watch. After about 2 - 3 months it began to stop working. It is an 'automatic' style watch that winds itself by collecting energy through your movements. The watch further decreased in function until, even with manual winding, it will only function for a few minutes. The warranty on the watch is 2 years. So I now have a $1,000 watch that looks nice, but doesn't tell time. I have made multiple attempts to communicate with the company and at first, it appeared they were going to process my return and provide the refund I had asked for. Now, they have cut off all communication and are no longer responding to any type of correspondence. I simply wish to get assistance in them providing the return and refund that they had initially indicated they were willing to do anyway. To aid in this regard, I have attached the following: 1. Invoice from my order for the watch (along with some notes that discuss timing). 2. Snap shot of the email exchange with **** (founder and customer service at Vaer watches). Please see page 2 for highlighted final exchange from ****. Note that the order # from the email exchange doesn't tie due to the returns and exchanges that involved another order #. To bridge that I have also attached the order that documents this in connection to me. 3. The other return order that bridges the original order # XXXXX with one of the exchanges # XXXXX. I have been going back and forth with their customer service for weeks. The responses are incredibly slow and do not fully address my questions. My watch movement is now far outside of their guaranteed accuracy range, and I want to send it in for service, but they still do not answer my questions for weeks. I am really apprehensive to send in for repair given how slow they are just to respond to simple messages. Now I see this other *** complaint, and it's what it feared - they will take months and not communicate with me. I really want a response and guarantee of better communication to fix (in a timely manner) or refund me for the watch I spent **** on that is horribly off time. I am very frustrated with this company. They have a well made product, but their absolute lack of communication and service is astounding and makes me fully regret ever doing business with them.Business response

I would not do business with this company again, but when it came down to it, the founder made things right. please improve your capacity for customer service responses - it seems you are severely under staffed.Initial Complaint

Watch broke under warranty sent in. Have not received it back almost five months later. Company sent a message on Aug 5th saying repair would go out in the mail week of Aug 15th. Since then silence. I'd asked for and continue to ask for shipping confirmation, tracking numbers, any communication. Nothing.Business response
