I rented from cypress for a year. Never missed a payment and was a great tenant. Had a horrible death in the family requiring me to move to PA from California. I gave them my notice and left the 8th of November, 2022. I gave them my new address and information after cleaning the place thoroughly. I received my mail from them expecting a portion of my deposit back, and not only had they taken the entire deposit, they claimed I owe them over 2500 on top of my 4100 deposit. They charged me for the month of December where I have proof of my notice. Then they completely stopped replying to me at all. Now it is almost march and I still haven’t heard anything regarding getting my deposit back. They’ve treated me horribly and I have everything documented and I have no idea how to get them to advise.
