Just about right the management are nothing but money happily. They charge for everything including if you have food delivered. Had a small leak with my sewer hose and was charged 550.00 for it. Just got the hose from them.

Mr. Hoard, It was very unfortunate for everyone that your black water tank had a spill. We take this very seriously, as does Ventura County and the state of California. There is a fine incurred when this occurs on our private property. Please know there is no charge for food to be delivered. We only allow the food vendors that pay to advertise with our park to enter the park and deliver directly to your site. Please see our brochure for those vendors. Alternatively, you may meet your food delivery at the front of the park, leave with security for or dropped at the front office for you to come pick up. We do appreciate your patronage, and we do our best to keep the park at it's best for all of our guest.

We stayed at this campground from a Mon-Thu in July 2023. It was extremely expensive and campers get different treatment depending on which days they stay there. This overpriced campground's management basically told us that we're not as important as campers staying Thu-Sun. With no discounted rate and no forewarning, when a camper stays on those weekdays, they have to tolerate the watering system running at their site, soaking the area, picnic table and their outdoor items, EVERYDAY! Everything was damp or muddy. There's a security guard at entrance and a sign saying that if management can't see issued wrist band, campers will be kicked out with no refund. We weren't sure why such a harsh restriction but then one of our bikes got stolen right from our site! I've been camping my whole life, never had anything stolen, not camper culture. After bike was stolen, seasonal/regular campers shared with us that things get stolen from Ventura Beach RV Resort regularly. They had hardscape construction going on right at the back of our site EVERY day with a crew and backhoe. We camp with friends and when they tried to pull in so our "patio" areas would be facing each other, management showed up immediately to say that wasn't allowed. We RV every month, for years now, never had that restriction. It was a very negative experience and we do not recommend Ventura Beach RV Resort, CA.

D*****, Apologies, that your visit fell short of your expectations and more unfortunate that you expressed not feeling valued. We do our best to inform all patrons at the time of reservation that we are still recovering from the devastating flood and fire, and remain under construction (at the time of your visit). I was able to find your reservation under a different name along with your signed construction waiver given at check-in acknowledging this fact. With hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on brand new sod it is necessary to have a regular watering schedule which is utilized Sunday thru Thursdays throughout the park. I am sorry that no one made an adjustment to the schedule or offered to move you and your friends to the North side of the park that is desert scape. Your desire to face your friend's recreation area is understandable. VBRV Resort does require that all rigs are faced towards the beach per our evacuation plan for safety reasons. Despite our best efforts to keep VBRV Resort safe and secure (hence our policy that wrist bands are worn and visible at all times) with our security team on site 24/7. We do encourage guests to secure their vehicles and belongings, as theft can and does occur on occasion. We are sad that you experienced the misfortune of your bicycle being stolen.
