I ordered a set of weights/ dumbbells in December. There was no mention of back order until months later when I questioned why the item has not yet been delivered. In March, I found out they were not expecting the item until April. I asked them to cancel and refund the order. They agreed. It has been 2 months and I have filed a complaint with my credit card and they are still holding me responsible for ***** worth of dumbbells I never even received. It has been 2 months since I requested a refund.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/02) */ The customer has ordered a pre-order item. The expected ship date was stated on our website. However, there have been a delay with our restock date due to the current global situation. We have always updated the ship date on our website and also updated the customer whenever they reach out. On March 18, the customer no longer want to wait and requested a refund. It is indicated on our refund policy that refunds to the original payment method can take up to 3 weeks which they agreed to. However, they filed a chargeback on May 22nd so we can no longer process the refund on our end as the bank would automatically take it out of our account. The customer is now upset that we cannot process the refund due to the chargeback. We totally understand they want to have their refund prioritized but as a small business, we hope you understand we have policies in place for issues like this. I have also attached our conversation with the customer regarding the refund request and their order page showing the date of the cancellation request and the date of the chargeback.Initial Complaint

In January I purchased a weight set and used ****** to make the purchase. The company kept making excuses why it hadn't shipped. Offering me free items added to my order to make up for it. Finally after 3 months I said I wanted a refund and they assured me I would get one in 2-3 weeks. 4 weeks later still no refund. I emailed again and they said 2-3 days. It's been 5 days and I still haven't received any refund.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/23) */ The customer ordered a pre-order item and due to our current global situation, the product got delayed which we have advised them accordingly. Since they no longer wish to wait, we cancelled their order as requested. Due to our long refund queue, there has been a slight delay but their order has long been refunded.
