On 02/10/2024 - while looking online for specials at Off the Charts Dispensary- I saw a response from Hello Cannabis stating Tired of Off the Chart, so I decided to try them out. I went to their website to place an online order. One of the first things that was shown were some Promo Deals with very attractive prices, so I decided to take advantage of those promos along with some other products. After checking out I received an email confirmation showing a total cost of $37.30.Upon arrival to pick up my order curbside, the man helping me took my money and my drivers license. He returned and told me that the actual price was $82.00. I showed the person assisting me the email confirmation and all he told me was that the prices shown on my confirmation were not correct. I told him that I was not spending $82.00. He gave me back, what I thought was everything I had given him but upon arriving at home I found that I did not have my drivers license. I spoke with the manager twice - the first time about the pricing - he offered a 30% discount if I returned but said because they had some issues with their website- but he would not honor the price they advertised and confirmed. I called back a second time when I realized I did not have my drivers license. I asked if they had my license he told me that the only way to get it back was to send someone there to pick it up. In our tense discussion when I asked him to put himself in my place he said he would have paid the higher price. He also told me that any bad review I gave them would be taken down. So now my only alternative is to report them to BBB and the CA Department of Cannabis Control.Business response

Hi ****,
We apologize for the encounter you had at our shop as we strive to have the best customer service. Unfortunately looking at your order, you added in your cart promo items and in order to get them you need to qualify for the brand promo. You bought 2 1g flower from Farmer and the Felon for a total of $18 and wanted 14g garden society for free/promo that doesnt make any sense for the brand to give out and we wouldve hope you would understand that since the promo product says promo on it and you werent purchasing the promo brand not sure how garden society would give you 14g for free when you werent purchasing flower from their brand in general. Same thing goes to your edibles your purchased 1 watermelon eclipse by lights out for $7 and wanted 2 pax edibles for promo when you didnt purchase from pax. The brands tell us what promo they want us to run with their brand so their products can move. The manager did offer you a 30% for the inconvenience you didnt understand the promo. Unfortunately we can not mail licenses out we do not want to be responsible for mail theft, if you pick it up from our store we have cameras with proof you are getting it. We do apologize once again for the confusion and we still have your 30% on your profile. Hoping you can give us another chance. Have a good day??
Best Regards,
Hello Cannabis
