4/2023 met with Regional Manager ***************************** and wheeled and dealed to get a great price advertising in what appeared to be an attractive local magazine. Was to be distributed in a well-known local grocery store chain in ****** and Englewood by June 1. Payments were charged to my account in April, June and July. I was told every other month. I attempted to email, text and call ******* and the alternative number for the design department. No one responded to me. The magazine still did not appear as promised. Others that are in the same position with an agreement to advertise, contacted me with their concerns. We determined we all had been duped. Each of us has contacted our credit card companies and now the BBB. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. One star is too many.Review from Ki J

We had no problem talking to people. The advertising layout guy was great. They even made changes to the ad more often than they said. The problem. The magazine does not exist. We checked the distribution sites repeatedly and they were not there. It doesn't matter how good the ad looks if nobody sees it. Also, we tried the "stop the check" thing. They just withdrew the money directly from the account. They can. It's in the small print. Don't sign.Review from Mitchell B

SCAM ALERT!!!!! I signed a contract with Discover Today Magazine on 7/7/22 for a 52 Week Advertisement program. The Sales Person stated that it was a September 2022 to September ***************************************** I was asked to approve the ad and we got that taken care of. I started writing to the Sales Person and two other employees of the company in September 2022 to find out when the ad will be out and when I will receive a copy. One employee told me the copy was sent and the other two told me I would receive it around the beginning of October which has now passed. This is when I started to feel uncomfortable with this agreement. I wrote again to the employee that stated that the copy was in the mail towards the end of September to say that I never received it. She stated that she would send another one out that still hasn't been received.
The first line of my contract says that the AD will begin within 90 days of the contract signing. That date would have been October 7th, 2022 which has passed ** and still nothing. I wrote to the employees last week about this and nobody answered me.
Also I was promised in the contract that there would be a 30 second video commercial made which never happened. As well as a flash drive that was never sent out and a QR code that was never created. Three payments have been charged on my credit card that I want back immediately. This is being handled very purely and there is no way that this is an A+ accredited company.Review from

After reading all the reviews, we put a stop payment on our check, and will not be doing business with them. Even their A plus rating has several complaints, which our business is leery of. We have filed a complaint as well, and the salesperson and the manager has not returned any of our phone calls. Stay away.

Marketing Services is more than happy to work with customers with any concern they may have.
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, offices have not been working during regualr business hours but have kept calls and emails checked and returned in the order that we receive them.

UPDATE: I worked with ***** ******* and she stepped up the plate and honored the price the salesman quoted us initially. She turned a really negative experience into a positive one. She stayed in communication with me and resolved our issues. Thanks *****!
