The worst pillow and customer service I have ever received. The pillow smells absolutely horrendous, even after airing it out. When I contacted the company to return it the woman on the phone said that many customers say the pillow smells like manure, and she find the farm smell relaxing. She suggested that we leave the pillow outside for two weeks to get rid of the smell. She also said that we should have sniffed the pillow through the plastic bag before we opened it. Never in my life have I had a pillow smell like I rescued it from a pigpen full of old bandaids, so I had no idea I would need to do a smell test in order to decide if I wanted to sleep on this repulsive product.It's spring in *****, why on earth would I leave anything outside for two weeks then bring it inside to sleep on it?!This company knows they're selling garbage products and their return policy reflects that.

Still, we are sorry to hear you are unhappy with your pillow.
There is a version of that same pillow you purchased, which is not wool-wrapped.
Please consider contacting customer support to request an exchange.
As for returns of opened items which we suspect is the reason behind your review of our company and products our policies are clear online. Also we place a neon-colored sticker on the outside of every item re-iterating the return policy.

In my lifetime, I have spent over $40,000 in mattresses and bedding with this company. One night, I happened to check out their website for a pillow topper and noticed a huge spring sale with FREE SHIPPING on ANY ORDERS OVER $149. I still have screen shots of their website and ads. It's clear as day. So I decide to take advantage of all the untimely savings and order 2 more mattresses for my own home (earlier than I needed them). At the top of my checkout page, it clearly stated YOUR ORDER QUALIFIES FOR FREE SHIPPING. I have screenshots of this too!. So I proceed to payment and low and behold, shipping fees are added back in.I call and write Lifekind and you can imagine, based on the other poor customer service reviews, how the representative responded. It's true, they are beyond awful. What a nasty, self righteous, arrogant human being. I was told to take it or leave it and that I "should be grateful" for the deal I was getting without the free shipping. I still took the mattresses (which didn't ship for weeks and took forever to arrive). But NEVER again. If you want mattresses of this quality or better with REAL customer service, try some of the other brands. Better prices are everywhere too! We are trying Saatva for our next large orders because they took great care of me once before with a small order. Sad for Lifetime to lose great customers like me because they don't have decent ethics or reasonable concern for customer satisfaction. I also wonder if their practices for advertising are deceptive? Really felt like a bait and switch followed by a lecture from (not so nice person). Oh and she also told me it's "not their fault if their website offers are inaccurate since their website staff is not in house." Wow.
