I purchased a pair of Men's ************** UNC Home shoes from them on April 19, 2022, from a page they had on Poshmark. The 1st RED FLAG ??was they made me pay off site from Poshmark, which isn't allowed by Poshmark, so there page was removed. The reason for the offsite payment was because Poshmark has 3 day shipping, and La Plaza Fashion has **** business days shipping, which is RED FLAG #2??. The reason for the long period of shipping is because they use a "vendor" to supply their shoes, RED FLAG #3??. As a retailer on Poshmark you are supposed to have your inventory on hand and ready to ship. This was my first purchase using Poshmark so I didn't know all this until after I made the purchase, then I did the research(do the research first). So after all of this, finally on May 18, 2022 I received my shoes. I looked them over to make sure there wasn't anything wrong with them, and they seemed okay. So I took some pictures of them to post online, I was excited that I had a pair of those ******** that are hard to get. Several days later I received a message saying that the $260 pair of Jordans I just purchased are counterfeit. I was like, no way, I bought them from La Plaza Fashion online. So I decided to research online, counterfeit ************** UNC Home shoes. To my astonishment, low and behold, these $260 pair of "Jordans", are in fact ??COUNTERFEIT??????????!! So the first thing I did was to contact La Plaza Fashion to make them aware of the situation, that they have sold me a pair of counterfeit ********. I emailed them and direct messaged them on May 24th, 2022. I can see they have seen my direct message, but they have yet to respond. My next step is to call them, that is if the number they provided is legitimate, and contact the Better Business Bureau to lodge a complaint with them. All I would like is to have my money refunded and return the shoes, but I suspect La Plaza Fashion will dispute the fact they sold me counterfeit shoes and deny my refund.
