While there are a few good staff members, my overall experience has been terrible. For the most part rhey are interested in generating revenue and could care less about the patients. From time to time Ive been treated so rudely it was amazing, and one time refused the chance to speak to my doctor during a serious illness where I needed their help. Avoid this business at all costsReview from Leslie C

DO NOT GO HERE! CSI is the most poorly run and poorly managed medical facility that I have ever seen. Although I have ******** and a supplemental health insurance policy, I was made to sign a waiver, and required to pay cash for a new CPAP machine. I was told I had to file the claim with ********, that they would supply all of the correct information. ******** denied the claim, as I was given incorrect information, I refiled the claim again, I appealed it 3 times, still I was given incorrect information. A contracted Doctor of Medical Supplier is required to file the claim. ******** will not pay directly to the patient. My cost out of pocket was $1275. I recently called CSI and told them they needed to file this claim, within 2 days otherwise I would be filing a claim with small claims court. ******** again denied the claim, stating that because 2 years has passed they could not cover it. They do not answer the phones, messages are not delivered or read. I have reported them to the ******** Fraud Department and they are following up. I recently switched all of tx to ************************** and supplies now come from Apria. THIS MEDICAL FACILITY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!10 THUMBS DOWNReview from Laura T

I believe there is a scam going on here. You order supplies and they never come. They are charging my insurance monthly and a portion goes to me. I cannot figure out how to sever the relationship as I get transferred a couple of times an then it finally goes to voicemail and no one calls me back.Review from Jeff B

Utterly unprofessional. I had an initial telehealth session scheduled for 8:30 this morning, April 1, 2024. At the appointed time, I could not log into their system. Over the course of a half-hour I tried repeatedly but could not gain access. (Over the years, I've routinely and successfully logged into Zoom and similar sessions; I'm not a technophobe.)Five minutes in, interspersed between those attempts, I texted them a sentence about my predicament. No response. A few minutes later, I telephoned. Waited 11 minutes, and nobody answered. At that point the voicemail system enabled me to leave a detailed voicemail message, which I did. After a few more minutes, having not heard back, I called again and opted for an automatic callback. There was never a callback. After giving up (having wasted a half-hour), I drove to the ******* office, where the receptionist offered no empathy, let alone an apology. I asked about some sort of follow-up or rescheduling, but she offered no help. She said, "They did receive your text." I expressed my frustration at not having heard back, and, like a robot, she said, "I can let the manager of that department know."A couple of hours later, I accessed the Institute's patient portal and entered a message (summarizing what I've chronicled here) for the physician's assistant with whom I had the appointment. (She evidently had never thought to call, email, or text me when I didn't appear on her computer screen.) No response from the PA.I've urged my primary care physician--who referred me--to spare her other patients the hapless, rude treatment that I received from Colorado Sleep Institute.PS: The following day, I received a patient satisfaction survey . . . as if my appointment had taken place! At the end of the survey appeared this message: "Thank you for your feedback. Please feel free to reach out to our management team directly if you have any questions or concerns. We read every response, and strive to make improvements."Review from Larry R

They kept sending me bills saying they were not paid.I would check with my insurance, United healthcare, and the go-between, rally pay, that said those bills for those dates of service were paid.I would explain it to the offshore office that they have contracted for their call center, give them all this data and be promised to get a call back which never happened.I gave them the reference number to call rally pay to see where the confusion is because that is between them. And as far as I can tell they have never called them. The accounting department that takes care of the medical provider billing is different than the accounting department that takes care of the medical supplies billing. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing and the offshore folks handling accounts, if you can understand them, don't have a clue whatsoever. So after weeks of being threatened of being sent to collections I kept dealing with it, with the last letter after dealing with it last month saying they are sending me to collections, I have now overpaid them.Overpaying by a few hundred dollars I guess is better than being sent to collections? Like settling out of court? They sent me my medical records because I told them I'm going to go find another care provider because of all these reasons and not one person has bothered to call to try to resolve or deal with it.I will let the dust settle and then the next review will be with the better Business bureau.Or Colorado **** I guess.Review from Lisa R

This is a deceptive company! They tried to charge me $250 for a data plan that my insurance company says I do not need for CPAP equipment. My insurance company tried to call their billing and they still would not cover it. Their billing department seems to be a a third-party company most likely out of the country. My insurance said all CPAP equipment is covered 100% from my plan. They kept calling and harassing me for this $250. Go to a different company! They are deceptive! What everyone else is saying here is true!Review from Armand L

I think I echo just about everyone who has posted a review about Colorado Sleep Institute in saying this organization is terrible. My experience began with them 14 months ago, trying to obtain an updated CPAP machine. Colorado Sleep Institute gave me the runaround like I have never experienced before in my 60+ years. You can count on CSI to not answer calls directly. I even went in person to their ****************** and stood before them and called them while they insisted they answer their phones and guess what? No one answered, and nobody was on the phone. IF you do get through to CSI, count on them transfering you at least twice to other people who again, rarely answer their phones. I went to them for help and received the worst customer service ever - and this is supposed to be a medical organization? They are a joke. I finally came close to obtaining my CPAP, and weeks before my insurance even approved anything, I was harrassed by a third party caller, (sounded like an outsourced call from a foreign country) asking for 'patient obligation' money on the phone. If it sounds like a scam...Trying to be patient but CSI is the most disorganized bunch I've had to deal with. Don't walk, RUN from these people, find another sleep organization besides this one. Horrible, unprofessional, mismanaged, incompetent, I'd give them ZERO stars if I could.Review from Sally G

Well, I'm glad I came here after only trying to get information from CSI. What a horrible process! Could only text someone, who finally gave me a number to call. Bounced around to 3 different people, who seem clueless as to why someone would want more info before spending potentially $1,000s. I hope everyone who even considers this service is able to read these reviews. Stay away and go somewhere else!!Review from Don B

Not at all surprised about these negative reviews and I would echo everything said. Their BBB rating is F, I have never seen a review site with a rating higher than 2.5. But there are not a lot of options which is why in my opinion, CSI really doesnt care. They are hopelessly incompetent in their billing and blow you off when you call. I have been dealing with them for more than a year and they have not gotten a single billing action right not one. I even engaged a health advocate provided by my insurance provider. They came back and said they have never seen anything like CSI. They gave up themselves and told me good luck.So if you choose CSI, good luck to you too. I dont think they dont read these reviews and they couldnt care less about what patients have to say.Review from CC C

My jaw dropped in my stomach is turning right now as I see all the one star reviews I wish I wouldve looked before. At least I could say thank you CSI for helping me become a more vigilant person. Its been over six months since Ive been able to get my sleep study From the first phone call that I took to be a valuated for the sleep study six months thats crazy anyways I finally got the sleep study done. They put me on oxygen there. Its been well over a week and I cant get anyone there to get a doctor to look at my stuff to see whats going on it was even rushed over on like urgent status because I had to be put on oxygen. Ive called every single day and nobody will give me an answer until today. Somebody finally told me Im pretty much SOL until the doctor comes back in like yet another week. Im gonna be reporting this to my insurance company and probably looking for somewhere else to go. My suggestion, read the reviews and form an opinion of your own before you put yourself into the care of this place.
