I purchased an education course in February of 2023. March-April of 2023 I began experiencing difficulties with the interface and was completely logged out to where I couldn't use the software I had purchased. When I called and explained they told me I would have my time extended for the 2 months where I was experiencing difficulties and my account even said expires April 15th. However, now it says I am logged out and they "have no record of my issues" and are holding my class hostage until I pay a reactivation fee. I would like to just have the 2 months back so I can finish my course.Initial Complaint

I received an email saying my classes expire in 3 months and that their are instrucrirs willing to help me. WHen I call customer service they say the coarse only has PDFs ,no videos or instructors. ABD the customer service is very poor and not very helpful. I want to know exactly what help there is other than a PDF on each class ?Initial Complaint

I have taken many online courses over the years from Van Ed. At the beginning of January ****, Van Ed had a sale, so I paid for 5 courses for my Colorado continuing education in real estate. I began with the Annual Update, which was in the usual format and had no problems. Then I took the Methamphetamine and *********** course. It was in a completely different format and when I called I was told that Van Ed was bought by 360 Training. There had been no previous notification on the website that 360 was now the course provider and that the format would not be the same. I found that there were bad links, an incorrect grading on a quiz question, and every time I clicked a link I had to go back to the home page afterward, click on "My Courses, then Courses in Progress, then click on the course to continue. This was annoying and a time-waster. However, I continued and figured I would finish the courses I paid for and then look for another provider. My next course was Foundations in Sustainability. After a few pages in, it was clear that this course was over ten years old and completely irrelevant as far as what is happening with green building today. I called to ask for my money back for that course and for the other courses I had paid for. I was told their policy is to give credit to be used in other courses from 360 instead, even though I made it clear that I did not want to pursue further education at Van Ed (360). They would not let me speak to a manager, so I finally just assumed the loss and will go elsewhere. People who have used Van Ed in the past should be aware of this change. Van Ed is not what it used to be and I certainly can't recommend it.Initial Complaint

I have purchased a renewing education required class Rookie Training #******, and the class expired, even though it should have been valid until Oct 25, 2023. I contacted Vaned 3 times by chat, and every time was put on hold and timed out, after which I called and requested replacement classes. I was offered two equivalent replacement classes, ********************** 101 - #****** and ******************************* in Colorado #******, and after multiple phone calls to the support line, was enrolled in these classes. However, I am unable to take the exam, as the system is asking me to make payment for the classes. I called 4 times in the first two weeks of September and every time was told that the issue will be solved so I can take the exams, including by email, and every time, nobody called up or followed up, and the issue is still unsolved.Initial Complaint

Overcharged. My original plan was $249. They came out with a promotion less than 12 hours later bringing the price down to $174, and then $149 the day after that and I immediately asked for a price adjustment. They did not answer me for days. I sent out another request 3 days later and still received no response. I then called and was told I could not have a refund or price adjustment because I accessed the content in between the time I was waiting for them to respond. I was sent a refund policy and I clearly fit within their own written parameters, and they still denied me the refund and price adjustment. As for the $249 price, I split it over 3 payments which should have been $83 each and was charged 3 payments of $101 which I did not approve. I also bought under the pretenses that they were what they claimed, an A+ BBB accredited business. THEY ARE NOT, and still tout this on their website, I took screenshots just before writing this. When you click the BBB link it shows they are not only NOT accredited with the BBB but they are a graded a C-. This prompted me to look up their provider ID ********* on Sunbiz.org which shows that they (Van ********************** LLC) are in an INACTIVE / REVOKED status since September 2022 and therefore should not even be selling their services in the **************** at this time. I called the ******** of Corporations *************) to clarify that information. So I have been sold services fraudulently, lied to about their BBB standing, bait and switch with pricing, denied a refund where I was within the refund policy and to top it off there are NUMEROUS grammatical and factual errors all throughout the course work. I stopped at module 13 because I'd had enough. Depending on what happens here, the next step is my bank, the Attorney General and the courts.Initial Complaint

The vendor has knowingly exploited people assuming that they will receive physical books with terms like e-book referenced on the site and then workbook as an extra tier to obtain, knowing that this is a pdf and then not issuing a complete refund even though you have requested a refund in a 12 hour span of said purchase.Business response

This vendor was advertising a 35% discount on an on-line course. The discount was shown as a code Career35 and was on my screen today as I went to the course page. When I went to my cart they only applied a 25% discount and would not allow me to update the code. The code was valid until 1/14/23 as shown in the uploaded document. Both on-line chat agent and phone agent refused to honor the code and told that was just too bad and that there was nothing they could do. They could only off 25%. To me this is false advertising almost a bait and switch.Business response

This business are scammers. They have a guaranteed refund but when you call customer service they dont help. **************** dont know anything about the product. The classes had so many errors in the ****** I could not believe it. It was completely confusing. Representative are HORRIBLE. I recorded my last calls with the customer service representative and I would like to purse whatever actions I need to get my refund. This entire process has been a nightmareBusiness response

I am rejecting this response because: Ive sent a copy of the emails as well as the ******* at the testing test verifying I only attempted once. Your department emailed me to take the test again. I went there and the system denied me again. You have no accountability. I would like a refund as Ive continuously stated.

The people at VandEd lie regarding their policy and when called never send the needed documentation. Their courses are subpar, and lack any kind of student engagement with the question bank needed for the State's exam. When called regarding the non-completion of the course and refund they had informed me that they will extend my time period and when called for extension they completely denied their promise instead asking for 35% fee for the extension, they try to surcharge you at every moment they can get their hands on.
