On 06/25/24 at 3:30pm we waited for quite a while at the podium to be seated. After being seated it took another 15 minutes to have our order taken. Our waiter seemed very overwhelmed and there were only 2 other couples seated in the restaurant. What was strange is that there were other wait staff but no one was working just standing around. Our waiter forgot the sugar for our teas and also got our order wrong. We are both very allergic to beans and ordered the fajitas with absolutely no beans. We were both served beans. We looked all over the restaurant for sugar for our teas and salt and pepper and found nothing. I had to walk near the kitchen and spoke with a 50ish woman employee who looked to be the manager about getting sugar packets and she seemed annoyed and finally brought us the sugar. Our fajitas were served cold, dangerously rare, red, and shoe leather tough. Disgusting. There was no one to flag down for assistance and our teas were never refilled and we were not once checked on. Our waiter was a blonde man with multiple tattoos. He was very boisterous and he had absolutely no soft skills, and no customer service skills whatsoever. We gave up and paid the bill and got out of there. This was a $50 waste of our time and money. We tossed the fajitas as they could not be eaten. I sent photos and emailed On the Border at their Your Opinion Matters contact: www.ontheorder.com/contact I emailed On the Border twice with photos of the disgusting inedible beef and no one responded. We have had terrible experiences at this On the Border *********************************************************************************** I do not want coupons for this restaurant as we will never return. The management and wait staff seem to hate their customers and their jobs. I would like to request a full refund.We were so nice and polite and had the worst customer experience at this restaurant. This has happened more than half a dozen times at this On the Border and is inexcusable.
