Avoid UC Health facilities at all cost. They use Emergency Medical Specialist to bill for services. We paid two other bills directly from UC Health and then months later received a very generic bill, upon requesting more info/ itemized bill for months, actively talking to them on a weekly basis they sent me to collections without ever sending me an itemized bill I had been requesting. Feeling entrapped and held hostage, we paid the ******************* not knowing what it was for. Then a few weeks later found out that E.M.S leaked our son's name, address, SSN, and medical records in a HIPPA violation. Still dealing with this nightmare. Just horrible.Review from Donna N

This company and it's service is horrible! I was seen at UC Health on 1/25/2023. Total bill was ******. I called and spoke with **** on May 4th and agreed if I paid $747.15 the account would be paid in full. Spoke with ******** on 5/9/23 balance was not cleared, she sent a note to ****, 5/23/23 spoke with ****** at 8:01 am and ***************** at 8:27 am. Asked to speak to a manager and was told unless I told them why I wanted one on the phone they would not transfer me and hung up. Called again 5/31/23at 11:21 am talked to ***** balance is still not cleared up, he sent me to ****, told under review, transferred to **** again and she aske me if I wanted it escalated. YES I DO. This company is absolutely horrible. So bad, in fact, that I will no longer be going to any UC Health facilities because they use this company's services. They wait 4 or more months to send surprise bills for services. In their bills they have directions to apply for financial assistance through UC Health, but if you call and point out that you have already done that, they will say that is incorrect and you have to apply through them. When you point out the ridiculousness of this they will hang up the phone on you. I also asked to speak with them about their data breach that exposed my Social Security Number and got hung up on again. They do not care about their patients. They only care about collecting your money.Review from Jerry E

This company sent me two bills for service that has been paid by me and my insurance company. The bills contain almost no information, except the amount of money that they want - not even the amount oi money that had already left my credit card account. My insurance company and I called them to discuss the matter, and they did not possess access rights to the information that the national insurance carrier typically uses to communicate with providers. I then got a voicemail to call them. I called the number they provided, and provided my name and their account number. When asked for additional personal information, I refused. I told them to stop contacting me and have all communication with my insurance company.
