  ********************** is having a situation with the contracted website developer *********************, 5280 Design Co. We found him through the ******** ***************** through this site ***************************************************************; and since signing with him have experienced quite the run around. He promised our non-profit website for 4 - 6 weeks from signing on March 29, 2023. Over the course of the next few weeks and months, he dodged meetings in person, refused executive staff phone calls and only sent updates via email. As of last week, our Executive Director had not seen much developed and requested a face-to-face meeting with him. We scheduled a meeting for Monday July 17 at 9 am and on the 16th he canceled claiming family issues. This is the fourth time he has promised us product and claims something came up and he would not be able to produce said product. Since then, I have attempted to get him on the phone every day this week. He finally called back this morning 7/19/23 and immediately started cussing me out and I did not respond because he hung the phone calling me names, etc. I also do not respond to abusive name calling or unprofessionalism. Following this call, he sent threats to sell my website to a competitor and other things which are illegal. I have attached our entire communication history To date: We paid him a little over $2000 to start the work in March with the remaining payment due at the time of completion. Due to his unprofessionalism, on July 18th, we terminated our relationship with him stating we will not pay him for any other work, and we want the created site deleted and any TRI property disposed of or returned promptly. He is claiming to sell our site to a competitor and other nonsense. I have not responded to him since he called cussing me out and started threatening me.
