House delivered Nov 9 1 hour notice. The set crew threw trash on ground. They never has inspection done after setting house. It's taking months to have drywall repairs partially done. The heat vents under house where damaged and destroyed but said nothing. I've been paying to heat crawl space for months. The repairman said he would take used parts and fix sometime next week. Alpine homes owner refuses to answer my calls only emails. This house had horrible drywall damage. The shower doors don't fit. They reset filling holes in shower with silicone and made new holes a 2" gap at bottom. The shingles aren't laying down flashing twisted and broke. I requested they look for mold as bottom door jam is dark the attic cover had water marks they never checked for leaks just painted over. Alpine sent 2 elderly repairmen to do repairs. The last one told my personal electrical they are going to do bare minimum. I have no paperwork no keys I've requested several times and I've been ignored. I paid in full. Alpine has no intention in fixing these thing correctly or at all.Business response

Alpine Homes received a hold deposit from Beth Shipley for a show home on April 11, 2023, for $1,000. This hold was to be for 60 calendar days. In the course of the months that followed, there were additional conversations to hold the home longer than the agreed time frame. It wasn't until October 27 that the home was sold to the customer, at the same price, even though the factories had raised all of their base prices. As a representative for Alpine Homes, I honored the original price even after 6 months, and having very little advance notice, was able to have the home prepped and ready to ship within a week as I was told there was urgency to get the home to the site and on the foundation. We delivered the home on 11-8-23, and set it the following day, 11-9-23. There was a complaint about the trash from the set and I contacted two contractors to address the issue. In order to do interior work, we need electricity to the home, which was finally made available and I was able to schedule the interior contractor on 1/2/24 to do the drywall finishes on the home. I even paid him to replace the drywall where the customer had torn out the built-in entertainment center that was original to the show home, which was SOLD AS IS. This replacement cost Alpine $1,000, which was not part of the agreement. I received a complaint from the home owner after the interior contractor completed his work. In response, I sent our interior contractor out a second time, which I have never done in the 17 years of his working with Alpine Homes. He returned on 1/30/24. My service contractor had a medical emergency in January, but was able to return to work the first week of February and contacted Beth Shipley to do a service walk through. He arrived on February 12 to address service issues. We are doing all we can to take care of the customer, but still they are threatening legal action. We believe this will be our resolve, unfortunately.

We have had our service contractor out to walk through the home with the customer on 2-12-24. He did do some adjustment work, and had written a parts list so that he could collect all the needed items to return, which he had scheduled to do on 2-19-24. The customer has threatened Alpine Homes with legal action, so at this point in time, Alpine Homes needs to know if we proceed with servicing the home or if we instead proceed with our attorney.
