Anthony, I will be calling you shortly to discuss the attached invoices that I paid to replace a rear differential on a car that I have driven less than 1500 miles. It was sold to me with a bad differential and I hope the solution to this problem is as simple as paying what I am owed and ending this terrible business deal. Please be advised that my attorneys are on this email and apprised of the situation. One will be in the room when I call you to discuss how to fix this issue. It appears the passenger back wheel differential needs to be replaced. When the Pilot was brought to me it was making a sound from the back passenger tire. As stated prior, that tire is setting off the sensor alarm everytime the car is started. The oil was also done on the car (as it was needed) how? I don't know as the oil was supposedly done 12/26/23 at 154,870 miles and I received the car with over 155,201 miles. The carfax states the oil was done on 1/2/24 at 154,883, but that was not what I was told by Alex in a prior email. I have gassed up the Pilot 3 times since I have purchased the car, in no way should an oil change be needed after driving less than 1,200 miles (given each tank is 400 miles approximately) Point being, the rear differential is going to cost me over $1000.00 to repair. I do not think I should have to cover this repair on a car that was serviced by Phil Long on 1/2/24 and 12/26/23 and the carfax states (which isn't accurate) that y'all serviced the car on 3/26/24. Please advise on how to proceed. I would like to be reimbursed for the repairs on the car in regards to the differential and oil change. I will provide the work order and estimate from Simpsons Brother's in a separate email, the parts have to be ordered and will require 1-2 days of work to complete. Business response

Ms. Wise purchased a 10 year old, 150k mile pre-owned vehicle. When an older car like this is purchased, you take it over at it's current Life Span and/or it's current service schedule. The work that was done by the outside dealer was not confirmed by Phil Long Honda, a certified Honda repair facility. Even if the work was needed, it would need to be done by us to insure that it was even needed, and done correctly. We would be willing to work with Ms. Wise on the parts is that would make her happy.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
No attempt was made to correct the issue. When alerted I was ignored and Phil Honda admitted that the back differential was “worn”. They sold it to me knowing it was defective and not fixed.
