I bought a vehicle from earthroamer for 200,000$ on 06OCT2023. It only had ****** miles when I bought it.Since then it has had 4 significant break downs.03NOV2023, 28DEC2023, 07MAY2024, 22MAY2024 Currently the engine has seized and requires replacement.Since taking ownership, I have poured my life savings into repair this vehicle and cannot af**** to fix it any more.I have filed a complaint with national highway traffic safety. Complaint # ******** They informed me, that there are 5 recalls on this vehicle.I have contacted the **** dealership in ********, they worked on the vehicle 3 weeks before engine seized. I have contacted earthroamer and they tell me they cannot help me with a replacement or refund.I have been unfairly treated because earthroamer has sold me an unsafe and unreliable vehicle.Business response

We are sincerely sorry that the customer has been having engine difficulties with the **** F550 chassis portion of the EarthRoamer camper that he purchased from us in October of 2023. The vehicle in question is a 2012 F550 EarthRoamer camper that he purchased from a previous owner through our consignment process. All four of his repair issues have been with the F550 chassis portion of the camper and not with the EarthRoamer camper itself.
Our warranty on a used vehicle this old is that we warranty any EarthRoamer portion for 30 days from sale and make no warranty on the F550 chassis other than the chassis is in good working order at time of sale. We have recommended to the customer that they discuss this issue with the mechanic/dealership that performed the work on his F550 engine during this time.
Overall, the customers proposed resolution of a refund or a replacement on a 12-year-old vehicle, that he has driven over ****** miles since owning, that is not covered by our warranty that he agreed to, is unreasonable.
Again, we are sincerely sorry the customer has experienced engine difficulties with the **** F550 and hopefully has recourse with his mechanic/dealership that performed his engine mechanical work.
