I took my 1 year old American Bully - purebred to get spayed on 6/6/2023. The lady with short black hair (receptionist) quoted me the price and then proceeded to ask me if I wanted any other services such as having the pup tattooed and I SPECIFICALLY said NO that she would have gone through enough pain as it is but that I would like her nails trimmed. She highlighted that option on the sheet of paper. And I have the paperwork showing all I procedures I asked to be done were highlighted by receptionist. I call around 12PM ro check on the pup to make sure she is okay and was told she is ready to be picked up and that she was in heat so it would be an extra charged. I said really? I have this pups sister so we will see if she is in heat which does not seem to be. That is another thing I question as I was told this about another dog I had spayed. I of course want to get the pup home so I paid whatever she asked me for and went on my way.I get the pup home and look at the receipt and I see a charge of $2.00 for a tattoo. I could care less about the $2. the point is they scarred my pup when I asked them not to put a tattoo on her.So I called and spoke to whomever it was who then gives phone to someone else who tells me is the manager of the facility and she said : "I am sorry that happened to you " and I proceed to ask what does that even mean?! What is your I'm sorry going to do? and then she said well what would you like me to do?! I was so upset I did not want to curse at her so I told her I would be in touch. I am looking into possible legal action. But want to see what BBB can get done as this is unacceptable. Let me tattoo your pet and say I'm sorry and that will make it all better? seriously? They need to be held accountable to their actions! To me it's like tattooing a person's kid and then just apologize and that will make it all better! THIS IS NOT OKAY! Something needs to be done!
