I was previously a member with Massage Heights ******** for roughly 13 months; For several reasons I cancelled my membership in April and was told I had credits to use. I tried on several occasions to get in during a time that worked for me and would have to book weeks out via the app to only be called a day or two before my appointment to say "Oh, your therapist won't be in that day" or one time (my favorite) I was told "Your massage therapist forgot it was his anniversary and has to leave for the day". As I am a single working mother, booking appointments was extremely hard to say the least.Time was running out on my time to use the credits I already paid for so I took one last try and booked an appointment via the app for Thursday 6/16/22 at 4:15pm. I was going to have to leave work early but I figured, I gotta use at least ONE of the several credits. I booked this appointment the end of May I believe.When I booked the appointment on the app, it was clearly stating that the cost at the spa was $0 because I had a credit. I got a call from someone at the spa 6/16/22 - day of the treatment at 12:58pm saying that my credits expired on 6/7/22 and was I going to be paying the full member price at the spa when I came in. Being that I was in the middle of a work day, I didn't have the opportunity to call back, I then got a text around 2pm I think (remember, my appointment is at 4:15....) asking if I was still coming in because I didn't have any credits and I would have to pay full price. I texted back saying that I wasn't coming in that I was fed up with Massage Heights and all of the undue stress of making a massage appointment over the past year!In checking my bank accounts the morning of 6/17, I see that Massage Heights charged me a $105 no-show fee! This is 100% unacceptable and I want that refunded ASAP. I tried to reach the manager on several occasions with no return call or email response at all.I would like my $105 refunded.
