      I stayed at this Super 8 establishment in Westminster ** on september 15th. 2022. I booked through a 3rd party. Upon check in I was asked to make a $40 cash deposit. There was no mention on the website about the policy, only a $50 pet deposit and I did not have any pets traveling with me. When I asked to put it on my credit card I was directed to an atm they have as they stated they will only accept cash for the deposit. Since my booking was non refundable I complied and payed the cash deposit of $40. Upon check out in the morning, which is the standard 11, my husband and myself took our belongings to our vechicle and I went inside after to return our key cards and get back our deposit. It was 11:05 am when I approached the desk. They stated that because it was not directly before 11 they would be keeping my deposit. I explained that we were putting our belongings in our car and that I came in right after to check out. The response from the desk staff and manager was that it didn't matter, that it could have been 11:01 am and they were going to be keeping my deposit. The fact that such policy is no where stated on their official site, that they will only take cash and not a credit card for incidentals, can only lead me to believe that this establishment is doing this practice to mislead and steal money from it's customers. Upon reading reviews from other patrons after my experience with them there seems to be an ongoing pattern of a slight underhanded business practice. I feel as if I was stolen from and strong armed from this particular location. For future customers as well as myself I would like the practices of this Super 8 location looked into and have some accountability for their customers.Sincerly,*********************

      I booked a room for my wife and I on 3/23/22 I had previously stayed there on 03/17/22 and had no issues and received my deposit back. Now the are saying we are on the do not rent list with no explanation, no refund and basically just stole 70$ from us. This type of scam I have been told about but had not falling victim until today. We talked to the manager because it said per manager and still got nothing.
