This is a quote to me. Car was a total loss, 2 months after I bought. Vehicle was stolen and totaled. There are police reports from 2 towns and insurance company validation. **** **** warranty returned prorated amount. When I asked the owner Arby "why did they not return the correct pro rated amount" he replied "that's what they do" see below the response from **** ******** ********: Good Morning *******, The amount due back to you was $3,320.50. **** ******** paid their portion of $2,140.60. The dealer has a portion owed to you as well and that is the $1,179.90. Total amount being $3,320.50. This is the prorated amount. It looks like you used 10% of the contract. There was a $75 cancellation fee and then we did pay $200.00 in claims towards this contract as well. Thank you for your time, Taylor D. Not only did he lie about this, there was a ******** *** warranty for $895.00, and confirmed by their finance employee it will be a full return. They returned $449. Although there was not a lien because the car was fully paid. I have this dated and documented. He did not even show me the payment checks. He lied and took 1624.00 from me and tried to blame this on the warranty companies. Now he ignores me. All the warranties were paid cash by me.Business response

Iam sorry Mr.******* ***** feel this way, I told him it was a process and as soon as it was completed, he would be refunding his money. Attaches are the checks that was issue. My company tries to do everything in an orderly fashion. Our customer is our first priority!! I understand an accident can be a hassle, but there are process and procedure that I have to follow when issuing refunds.Customer response

Purchased a 2014 **** ********. Vehicle has major coolant leak (possibly head gasket), bad axle seal, rotted struts and springs, no a/c, clutch problems, and brake failure on first day or purchase. Dealer refused to service vehicle or reimburse me for any work done. These are safety issues for the driver and the vehicle.Business response

the vehicle was fully inspected and serviced before the customer purchased the vehicle. the day the customer purchased the vehicle called our store and informed us that the vehicle needed one caliper to be replaced and that he has a friend that has a shop that would do the repair. the total cost of the repair was $250.00 per Nick. we agreed to cover the costs to be convenient to the customer. we wrote a $250.00 check to Nick for the repair. the vehicle has a 60 day warranty for parts and labor at our shop only. he is very welcome to bring his vehicle in for any concerns. we do not know why the complaint was filed.
