i when to ford of Branford desiring a vehicle brought a ford 150 it been a total nightmare ever since the moment touch that pen, the next day i call back figure that was a bad decision , they state there was no cooling off period .on 10/04/23 i took the truck home the truck was running loud took to shop the oil was not change looked like mud pick the car up on 10/10 23 ,i brought it back again told them the power steering and 4x4 was not engaged they stated they see nothing wrong which was a lie ,i pick it up on the 10/17/23 . i return again was driving the brakes gave out a very scary moment brought it back again on 10/22/23 i called the service department they dont have the truck i ask where is it so i went there there on 10/25/23 search the parking lot it was in the back of the building ever look at no service done, when you call there the customer service if some in service answer the phone, they are clueless ,it been three week have not heard any from Ford i wish i had check BBB before i went thereReview from Michele B

We took our F150 here for the power steering. After a diagnostic it was determined that the rack and pinion needed replacing. We waited 3 months for part to come in which we paid in advance for. Couple days later they said come pic it up. Drop off my husband to take it home. 15 minutes later, I get a phone call. He’s sooo pissed. The truck was parked outside ready to go.! EXCEPT IT WOULDNT GO!! Absolutely NO power steering now. The “new” manager was oh so sorry. Gave us a new car with dealer plates to drive. Said they would fix it. It’s NOW September and we have no truck and no word on what’s going on. Called today and the service manager had a death in the family and no one knows what’s going on. So I’m waiting for someone to call me back. I don’t hold out much hope and don’t know what to do.Review from Isabel S.

If you are looking for a scammer dealer you found the right one we saw a car advertised on their web side for $54,000.00 a ford mustang spoke with them over the phone was ready to buy the car even took a certified check with me when we got there saw the car when we sit down to do the numbers they brought me the paper with the price of $70,000.00 they said because there was a shortage of cars they were charging the “ market value” even that the cars value was $54,000.00 and the manager was so rude I drove 2,5 hours to get robbed I told them that was false adverting that was a crime and then they went on their web side and put that the price could change according to market value , a big scam , if you want to get rip off and deal with dishonest people this is the dealership for you , but if you are look for a decent and honest dealership stay away from them .Review from Jovanna G

I am so upset with this place I don’t recommend anyone ever go in here to buy a vehicle they do not know what they are doing. I went here with a trade-in and was told I was approved for a certain car and then later after waiting hours was told I wasn’t actually approved for that car so I was forced and manipulated into a different vehicle they made me drive around on it with a dealer plate for three weeks long only to tell me I had to come in for service I was very confused and upset. After dropping the car off for service finding out they never did a safety check and the vehicle had a recall they told me they had to take the vehicle I was never truly approved for my loan after pulling the vehicle from me they were not even going to give me my old car back or my money after putting up a hell of a fight I was able to retrieve my car and get my down payment back but the amount of stress and agony ended up getting me nowhere in the end if you were searching for a vehicle I do not recommend this place!!!!Review from Nisha F

Worst dealership Branford of ford they messed upon my application four times to finance a car . Had me come in numerous time to redo the application only for not to submit it or check their errors , If I had never would of wrote Gina they wouldn’t of known it didn’t go through . She is horrible and needs to be retrained or they need to find someone else to do her job she doesn’t know what she’s doing, the person that owns the place had to step in to fix the issue . She lied and told the police I basically stole the car after they let me drive off the lot with it fro, doing all the paperwork the first time , that place is a fraud show and is very unorganized and professional they like to play the blame game on an individual that doesn’t work their anymore instead of her owning up to her mistakes . Do not go here or buy a car from here until she’s gone she doesn’t know what she’s doing and will lie making it seem like you’re not trying to pay on a car that she messed up the finance process on more than onceReview from Sandra S

very poor service. part of the service I requested was never put on the form or done. I was told they could not check my battery, but could do a full charging system test for $159. the person who called me Talked as if I knew nothing about a vehicle. The service intake people talked and laughed about the people calling in for service. I have used this company since 2002, have purchased a number of cars from them... I believe they have a new owner and all the old service and personnel that I trusted have left.Review from Lissette R

Leasing a 2020 Ford ST with this place. Check engine light comes on in Dec 2021. Have the car checked by FoB service. They tell me they ordered the part, should come in few days they will call me. No call from them days later. I call multiple days in a row only to be placed on hold or sent to vm. Still no call backs. Fast forward to Jan car starts making a loud noise. Call again to a) get it checked b) find out what’s happened with my part. They claim to not have a record of my being there. Weird because I have the email confirmation appt for Dec and now Jan and also a vm from the worker confirming he ordered the part. I go in to get the loud noise checked. They tell me I can’t drive my car and they now ordered the part. Days go by and I have to call them everyday only for them to tell me parts back ordered and not shipped yet. They also cannot give me a loner so I have to use my moms car to take my kid to school and go to work. 15 DAYS without a car. I escalate to manager who miraculously gets the part and put it on. I pick up my car next day only to find the check engine light still on also they never ordered the muffler part that needed fixing for the loud noise. 2 wks pass no one calls me to let me know the muffler came in. Brought it in fri mar 4 to fix they realize they missed another part from the original issue and now I’m 4 days w/o a car AGAIN. I call and no one has updated me on when I can get my car. I’m so frustrated at the blatant disregard for customer service. This feels intentional at this point. Lodging formal complaints. I will NEVER EVER buy/lease from FORD again.Review from Michael A

This dealership tried to scam me out of a set of rear brake pads and rotors for my car. I told them during my routine service that my brakes were replaced 18 months ago. They told me I had 5,000 miles left. Took the car to another Ford dealer who very nicely said to me my car didn't need this work and I had 70% life left on my brakes. Ford of Branford tried to rip me of. The other dealer had no incentive to lie to me. I advise everyone to go elsewhere.
