On August 6, 2022, I placed an order on the Lux Bond & Green website for the Maileg Super Hero Mouse (item# *********) for $27.00. Taxes were $3.59 and Standard shipping was $8.00. The grand total was $38.59 and my order number was #****. I received my order on August 10th. The item was "defective" because it did not have enough stuffing in the upper portion of its body and slumped over. I have a collection of these mice and in comparison, I know that this item is defective. I emailed Lux Bond & Green's customer service about this item and attached photos. I wanted to exchange the item for another one. On August 11th, I received an email from Beth R****. She informed me that she checked the other mice stuffed animals in stock and said that they all look just like the one I received and she would be happy to send me a return label and credit my card upon receipt. I wrote back the same day and agreed to a return label noting that they must have been from a defective batch. On August 12, the package was picked up to be returned back to Lux Bond & Green. Today, August 19th, I received a refund for only $29.50 and not the full amount. I emailed Beth R**** again and noted the discrepancy in the amount. She told me that she's sorry that the item didn't meet my "standards" and the company doesn't refund shipping charges. Yet, I was charged tax on the shipping charges. I believe that I am entitled to the full refund because the item was defective. In good faith, I was not informed that the shipping charges would not be refunded, or else I would not have returned the item. I have retained the entire transaction in emails and it shows that I was never informed of anything less than a full refund, nor was I informed that the item was not defective.Customer response

Hello, regarding my complaint against the business, Lux Bond & Green, the manager has since authorized a refund for the shipping costs. The math is a little short, but for $0.35 cents, I'm going to let the matter go. So, I would like to cancel my complaint. Thank you, ******
