I had legal documents needing to be served on a ************* business by end of business day 30MAR2022. Using ******* I came upon the very professional-looking website ********************************** with the following phone number and email: ************** ********************************* Constable Court Services also offers skip tracing, child support **************************** recovery. I contacted them 3-4 days before the deadline date and they indicated their ** office was within 1 mile of the subject business. I talked to Anthony B. They agreed that for $65 bucks, if the documents were in their possession by the morning of 30MAR2022, they could serve them before the end of the business that same day as the business was within a mile of their ** office. The documents were in their office in the early morning, by 2pm I called/emailed to verify the documents were served. When I finally talked to ********, he said the documents got misplaced but located, & that he would invoice me right away. I confirmed the documents would be served by the business close. I paid the emailed $98 invoice ***** within minutes of receipt. (The final part of this transaction would be Constable Court Services providing me an affidavit of service after service occurred.) Since the invoice was paid, I cannot reach anyone at the *** number nor ******************* number BBB has as the local ** office number, nor by email. **** mail to **************************************************************, is returned marked RETURN TO SENDER, NOT AT THIS ADDRESS Similar complaints on BBB from 2019 and 2016, lead me to believe this is a business practice, rather than a one-off, or infrequent error. Further, If it were a true error, the business would not avoid communication. One must wonder how many are much more severely damaged using their child support and asset recovery services. This is absolutely the worse customer service that I have possibly could have ever gotten. I would give zero stars if I could. I contacted Constance B***** through their website. The website could not handle the size of the court summons so I sent pictures. Constable B***** contacted me the next day and said his secretary couldn't print the summons and I told them I could email them. Mind you, he rushed me off the phone in that same call to take another client. I emailed the forms that same day and told them that the person I needed served was in Boston, MA. I paid the invoice fee and hadn't heard back. Calling today on the 18th for a check in- I told him my full name and I was following up on my service request. He told me his guy tried to serve but he wasn't there and without a picture he doesn't know what he is serving and on top of all of that - he usually charges more for Boston but he let it go and that if there is additional things to know about the case to let them know. First, when I emailed you the forms and told and specifically told you that the service was in Boston then you should have mentioned the extra fee. I would have gladly paid that! Secondly, exactly where and when was I going to communicate that information to you if you are rushing me off the phone and trying to grab as many customers as you can. Lastly, you mentioned 30 days and had you done your due diligence when vetting cases which I would assume a company like yours would do you would have seen it was under that. All the way around the customer service for this was terrible. If he had just taken the extra few minutes instead pushing each case through this could have been resolved quickly. The fact that he said I was "talking" and not "listening" because he failed to communicate to me what he needed is unacceptable. Even worse he will not refund me the full amount for inefficient work ethic.
