      Del one stole 7 social security checks and now we gotta sue them.This came from the one in Newark Delaware branch and the lady there didn't want my mom to close out my mom account.This happened to my mother and she is an old lady this bank should be ashamed of themselves taken advantage of the elderly

      They are a horrible bank their employees are so rude and unprofessional. I had fraud on my account and try to request my money refund! The girl told me they not refunding my money cause this happens to much on my account! Excuse me! They charge you 25 dollars for everything they pay which over drafts your account! They hold your money hostage! 27 years I been banking and I’m trying hard to find a new better bank!

      Horrible they hold your money hostage and is way too strict. I don’t recommend you use them and the customer service is terrible. Too many bad experiences in a short amount of time.

      Been with Del-One a long time. The last year l noticed a decline in service from employees. Real bad service from employees. Not experienced with customer service ??. I hate to go in and deal with someone working in there. Need more training. Very sad to see.

      Del one you get know stars from me!!! Not even half a star! This star was selected in order to submit the review but it really reflects a NEGATIVE STAR rating!!! This Credit Union is the ABSOLUTE WORST! When I opened my account I erected not to have any overdrafts on the account a month later they changed their policy and automatically enrolled me in the new plan with overdraft protection. I noticed an overdraft fee so I called and inquired and after waiting 30 min and two phone calls later the fee were waived and my account was put back with no overdrafts. WELP A MONTH LATER I SEE MORE OVERDRAFT FEES SO I CALLED AGAIN AND WAS ADVISED THAT EVEN THOUGH I ELECTED NO OVERDRAFTS I WILL STILL INCURE FEES IF AN ITEM COMES THROUGH AND WAS REJECTED.. SO I SAID PLEASE CLOSE THIS ACCOUNT... THE ACCOUNT WAS NOT CLOSED AND STILL IS NOT CLOSED AND STILL INCURRING FEES.. I HAVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND SPOKE TO SEVERAL DIFFERENT REPS AND ITS STILL NOT CLOSED... CREDIT UNIONS WERE ORIGINALLY ESTABLISHED FOR THE PEOPLE! TO HELP MEMEBERS MANAGE THEIR MONEY WITH BETTER TERMS AND TO PROMOTE THE WELL BEING OF THEIR MEMBERS. I HAVE TD BANK AS WELL AND HAS SET MY ACCOUNTS UP WITH THEM WITH NO OVERDRAFTS AND NEVER HAVE I INCURRED ONE FEE FROM THEM. A LAW SUIT NEED TO BE INTIATED BECAUSE YOU ARE FORCING FOLKS TO PAY THE BANK FEES WHEN THE NON OVERDRAFTS ACCOUNTS ARE TO PROTECT THE CUSTOMER.

      This has been hands down the worse experience. They have no means of communication or resolution after 6pm and you’re waiting for assistance for basically 30+ minutes. I can barely access or complete anything through the app and the live chat doesn’t work properly or doesn’t work or help at all.

      I've been banking with Del-one for many years & it continues to go down hill. As a state employee I thought this would be a good place but it's horrible. Their automated phone banking never works or is delayed. I've had issues with getting to my account online. I went in for assistance & it still doesn't work. I go to try to transfer money & pay bills & their automated service is delayed & wont work. But I am unable to leave message or contact them. When I call I sit on hold. Absolutely would not recommend this bank. Time to move my accounts.

      I have to give one star and that’s being generous for the ridiculous wait times to speak with someone over the phone. After listening to options twice that did not address my reason for calling I was put on hold. Listening to the same recording over and over. At the nine minute mark I was told my wait time was approx 5 mins. It dropped to four minutes twice until the 20 minute mark it was 3 mins then at 23 minutes it was one minute. At 25 minutes it was still one minute. So thus far they’ve already gone ten minutes past the initial 5 minute wait time. Granted it gives the option of having them call you back but there is no time frame for the callback. The employees are very nice when you finally get through but customers should not be expected to wait that long to speak to someone. It seems as though the attitude is that’s just business as usual instead of addressing the problem.

      Went to the grocery store and my debit card was declined for a small purchase when I have over ten times that amount in my checking and over that in saving to cover that small purchase. Never received an email or text that there were any problems with with my account. Tried to call customer service and no one to speak to because it was the weekend. Thank goodness it was not for an emergency purchase!!!! Please get some customer service for after hours and weekends for people who might have a real emergency and notify people in advance when their accounts have been locked.

      If I could give them 0 stars, I would! This bank is just awful! I have had them as my bank for many years and have been consistently disappointed and frustrated with them. The lack of customer service outside of "normal business hours" is appalling. Recently I had an issue with a a POS charge being declined at the register (I tried 3 times). Of course, all banking systems were under "routine maintenance" when I tried to go in to see what was happening. Because of this, I was charged 3 times, overdrafted my account, AND the bank charged me an overdraft fee. And because they give NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OUTSIDE OF NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS, I was left with no money and had to wait until Monday morning at 9 a.m. when they opened to get things corrected. This is BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. Issues and problems happen every day and the fact that this company doesn't provide customer service outside of "normal business hours" is the reason I will be changing banks. There is no reason for a bank to not offer emergency customer service for its customers, especially in situations like this. They need to get with the times! Saturday and Sunday are now BUSINESS DAYS for many people and people WORK AND SHOP on those days. You should at least have a call center that assists members when they have issues outside of your "normal business hours." I also do not want to have to wait for 30 minutes to speak to someone when I do call. Again, poor customer service. Also, why are your hours 9-5? With the exception of Friday and Saturday, you are literally open during the hours that I work which makes it very difficult for me to go into the bank to fix issues face-to-face. Other banks offer earlier or later hours or 24/7 customer service lines to assist customers. What is Del-One doing to put its customers first? In my opinion, nothing. Del-One houses the assets of over 80,000 customers to the tune of $650+ million and has a net worth of $9.25+ million, but customer service is non-existent. Stay away.
