Roof replacement due to storm damage. To begin with I was provided with the most thorough quote and proposal that I’ve ever received for a service, Zach was very through in answering all my questions and making suggestions regarding the materials. The entire experience from the estimate to the follow-up was very professional, every team member provided great communication through the entire process. The installation crew showed up early, finished ahead of schedule, cleaned up all areas very thoroughly once the job was completed. I was so impressed with their work ethic, professionalism and competitive pricing that I will be having them install some new windows. I highly recommend Kirkin Exteriors.

In the wake of a leaking roof crisis, I contacted Kirkin Exteriors for help. Dan, a dedicated team member, promptly responded and provided an estimate that satisfied me in terms of pricing and the promised quality of work. Little did I know, this encounter would be one of my last memories of Dan, as I later learned of his passing. Despite Dan's loss, I found ease in Kirkin Exteriors' exceptional service. From the initial phone call to the responsive email exchanges, every interaction with their staff was marked by professionalism and care. A particular moment stood out: when the manager apologized for a delayed start, it exemplified the company's commitment to customer satisfaction and accountability. The process for obtaining permits and loans is complete, and I couldn't have done it without the support and guidance of Dan, at Kirkin Exteriors. Removing the old shingles was complete before noon. the next day, new roof and solar shingles were on by the afternoon. The integration with GAF and their electronic installers was also a smooth transition. My family is excited about the finished roof and solar shingles. Stay tuned for solar performance results.

Complete satisfaction! Great team of great workers!!!!!! Finished taking off 3 layers of shingles, installing new wood and roof, adding in some venting and complete gutters all around, project completed in 1 day! Cant praise them enough!

Kirkin recently installed a new roof with solar shingles on my house and I am extremely happy with the outcome! To start with, I was provided with the most thorough quote and proposal that I’ve ever gotten for a service. The team at Kirkin was able to provide support and answer any questions that came up during the loan and application process, and they worked closely with me to schedule my install. The crew came out on time (was actually a bit early) and got right to work. They were in contact with me the whole time to keep me informed of the progress and what to expect. The job was completed quickly and it looks phenomenal. I had high expectations and they were able to meet and exceed them! I will definitely be recommending Kirkin to anyone else looking for roof repairs and replacement.

Kirkin Exteriors was recommended to me by my homeowners insurance agent and upon reaching out to them they came, inspected my roof and provided me with snapshots of the problem areas and gave me a very reasonable estimate to repair. My reaction was WOW!

Short: Sloppy, unprofessional work; bad counterflashing job and window install. Be prepared to do your own cleanup. Long: We contracted w/ Kirkin for a new roof, counterflashing, and 2 new windows. Normally we would not have roofers do windows but we'd been struggling with leaks for a while and wanted to get as much as possible done before winter. We were told by the salesman, who also turned out to be the window installer (bad sign), there was rot around the windows that was likely contributing to the leaking. At their recommendation, we also had them replace our existing counterflashing right below these windows. They told us ours was poorly done. Long story short: upon inspection, we discovered they had installed the wrong size windows for our frames…The ones they ordered were too big; they had to cut our exterior wall to make them fit. Didn't tell us. Didn't repair or seal the area afterwards, just left it cut open/exposed. We also saw they had dented our trim coil, which we bought ourselves to match the color of the frames. Didn't say anything about that either. Looks like a big shoe-print indentation front-and-center; impossible not to notice. I’d be livid & mortified to have been left with such a hack job if these were ground-level windows that could readily be seen. Fortunately they’re on the 2nd floor in the back of the house. Still, it’s a mess that we now need to pay someone else to fix. Counterflashing was also poorly done. We had three other contractors here since then who shook their heads when they saw it. Kirkin wasn’t scheduled to do our roof replacement until the following week. Needless to say, we did not want that kind of workmanship anywhere near our roof and didn't proceed with that. We did a lot of research/homework before going with Kirkin. They weren't the cheapest of the quotes we received. In the end, they did not rectify or address any of the issues (Dan/owner was quite smug about them) and kept our money. Live and learn I guess.

Unfortunately, while we at Kirkin have a different view of how these events occurred, we did come out to your property to look at and rectify any concerns you may have had. We were met with severe hostility and threats, to the point of you even locking our sales consultant out of the house on the roof. Because of these actions, we decided to terminate your contract with us. We kept your deposit as payment towards the work that was completed at your property. Again, thank you for your time. You in no way addressed or even acknowledged any of the issues. We told you in detail via phone and email what the issues were, even sent pictures. When you came to inspect the completed job, you asked us what we didn't like about the windows. You had to ask? We pointed out the issues again: wrong size windows, cut and damaged our exterior wall and didn't seal or repair it, damaged our trim coil. You smugly dismissed/ ignored us and again asked what we didn't like; just kept repeating the question, almost mockingly. It was as if this was a game to you. We weren't entertained. This was our home that you damaged, so yes, we did get upset. No one locked you out on the roof. When it was clear you weren't interested in rectifying let alone acknowledging any of the issues, you were told to leave. In summary: you kept our money for not only a completely unprofessional job, but an improperly completed one. You installed the wrong sized windows, damaged our home to accommodate your mistake, and didn't have the decency to own or fix it.
