why am I paying $1,079.10 on a $157.00 balance and still have 22 payments of $49.50? I've tried many times to pay off this amount but you put more money towards my higher bill.

I won a lawsuit through borrowers defense against The Art Institute Online. My student loans have been forgiven because of that lawsuit. Navient is the loan Servicer. The loan servicer is not returning ANY money paid in for those loans. This is an egregious theft. This company cannot do the right thing. Every time there’s a decision to be made, they choose the wrong one. This company does not deserve to be in business Especially when they’re stealing money from people that a college already defrauded.

Navient is the worst company in the world. They do not care about the person, they just treat people like dogs and could care less about anything else. This is the worst program ever.

Horrible, horrible, horrible company! These parasites will call you at your job all day long, and harass you despite you telling them you are working. Telling them to call after 6:00 p.m. results in crickets. They'll just call the next morning! I wish the whole company would implode, and every single person that worked for them was forced in the unemployment line!

If I could give zero to this company I would. I don't have a loan through this company and never have. I have never heard of this company before but I've gotten messages from my sister in law and my sister about this company contacting them trying to get my information. When I called he person back named David Griffith he was rude to me and tried telling me I accessed their site which I never have. They said they got my families info from public record and turns out they are harassing my family when the person they are actually looking for is a different middle name and age birthday than me. He tried asking if this other person was my mom and throwing out a bunch of names of people not associated with me. He said that the phone numbers of my family are in the same area code as the person they are looking for. My area code covers a quarter of the state. I would file a complaint but I have no money in this company. I don't understand how a company can harass someone who is not associated with their company at all.

Over the last 8 months, my employment situation has drastically changed & I had to switch from making my usual full payments (which are now $700 a month) to Interest-Only payments. Navient repeatedly makes this difficult, & has time after time rejected my Interest-Only payment plans after they have sent me a confirmation that it was accepted. For the month of June, I had to fight tooth & nail to get my payment plan reduced again because my employment situation hasn't & isn't going to change due to my future school endeavors in August (I qualify for in-school deferment & my two jobs can work around my class schedule, so I'm just trying to ride out my finances as best I can). Anyway, last weekend I received an e-mail stating that my payment for July is going to be $1200, despite the fact that I have a fixed interest rate. Come to find out, they rejected my Interest-Only payment plan, saying I was not having financial hardship (it literally stated that in the letter). The funny thing though is that they already took one of my payments for my interest in June, & lo & behold I got an e-mail saying my next Interest-Only payment is due on the date we selected initially. So they are both saying they aren't accepting my payment plan, but still taking my money. I really just want to ask one of the employees why they get to pick & choose what agreements they're going to follow & abide by, but I'm not allowed to at the same time? I literally have a paper trail from them & it doesn't matter a bit.

I am very displeased with not being be to extend my rate reduction program. My full payment is over $1,100/ month and I can’t live and pay my student loan. I was disconnected with a manager by the name of Christy Shuppler. Even if I can pay what I ca afford, my loan will go into default. I don’t understand why a student loan company wouldn’t won’t to help their lenders be able to afford their payments.
