Approximately 3 years ago, I had a brand new roof put on my home by Everdean Construction company. The roof started leaking in the exact same place shortly after the repair They sent someone who supposedly fixed the issue, only to discover that the leak was still there. I have tried calling the business on several occasions and continue to get no response. I have also had my son call and leave messages, and no one returns calls. I also had my son to go to their last known address in **********, only to be told that they had moved again with no notice. I do not understand how my roof was approved by the city, but still leaking. Overtime, this leak has caused severe damage to the ceiling and flooring in the bedroom where the leak exist. I am requesting someone from Everdean Construction to respond and contact me immediately to discuss getting this repaired and/or refunded, or I will be filing this in claims court.

Everdean Construction installed a new asphalt shingle roof and two skylights on our home in Lakeland, Florida in December 2018 with a five year warranty. A roof leak began around one of the skylights in early June 2023 (within warranty period). An initial call to Everdean Construction on June 6 with repeated calls over a three week period have only resulted in acknowledgement of my issue but no service or even a projected service date. The leak has now caused water damage round the skylight. We called another provider who temporarily covered the skylight to minimize any additional leakage. While on the roof he identified that the skylight was installed incorrectly which likely resulted in the leak. He quoted us $2,300 to repair and replace skylight. If Everdean Construction does that honor their warranty and repair the skylight leak by July 14 (a full five weeks from notification of leak), we will paid another contractor to repair the leak and seek compensation from Everdean Construction through small claims court.

I am filing on behalf of my mother. She had a stroke last year and is not able to complete this information. EverDean put windows and a door in my mother's home in 2017. They either did not do or failed a final inspection. This left the permit open. This open permit has held up the sale of my mother's home for over four weeks and counting. Numerous attempts to contact the company have gone unanswered. I want them to have the windows and door inspected and have the permit closed. They have been paid in full for the work and yet the work is not fully completed.

This company helped me file a claim with my insurance company. Now I have a check to complete repairs and they will not return my calls or tell me what the status is.

This job is not in our system and we do not have any paperwork to review. According to the only email sent from our previous employee who took ******************** call, he was working with *********************. It looks like ****************** was working on his own, outside of the company. ****************** was a salesman who left the company earlier this year. We would be happy to review ******************** paperwork if he would like to send it over to ***************************************** however, at this time, **************** is not an actual customer of **********************.

Business Response /* (1000, 22, 2022/12/06) */ After extensive research into this job, it appears that the oversight was due to the job being listed in our system with our client, Jenkins, as the customer. The employee that Ms.****** spoke to has not been with our office for several months, however we have no record of any contact to our office line, or via email, from Jenkins or Ms.****** insurance company. Upon recent correspondence from the BBB stating that we had unresolved cases, it was also brought to our attention that the email address on file with the BBB, which was the only address that correspondence was being sent to, was also the email address for the employee that is no longer with or office. At this time we are reaching out to Jenkins to coordinate getting this resolved. If the customer does not hear from Jenkins or Everdean within 1 week, please email****************************** directly.
