I purchased financing services with a promise of assistance and ease of use. I received no assistance abs it is not easy to use. It's very complicated.Business response

You signed up for a self-service tier account, which is essentially access to the technology and our materials. It does not include a dedicated account manager nor does it include direct assistance on your deals. This tier is really aimed at those who don't feel they will need help, unless the technology itself breaks, and are comfortable with running the applications and assisting their homeowners all on their own.That said, I haven't seen you run a single application OR reach out to us even once with any actual questions or issues that we could have gone above and beyond to help you with. Nor have I seen you take us up on the free training class and webinar we offered you. Have you taken the time to check out our awesome training videos yet? They are in your Dashboard and have been since day 1 of your account. Within those videos are the answers to just about every question we ever get.It's not exactly accurate to accuse us of not providing services when we have actually not been given the opportunity to provide them or, when we do offer them, you simply choose to not take us up on them.We encourage you to keep trying - in fact, I'll go ahead and extend your 30 day guarantee window that has currently expired out until October 1st so you can actually have some time to go to the training, watch some videos, and actually run some client applications. If you run the 10 discrete apps in that time and cannot get a funding, we will honor our guarantee and refund your money.My team is available Monday - Friday, 8am to 10pm Eastern Time every week at ************** or via email *********************. We have absolutely no record of your reaching out for over 45 days between your payment and your sudden request for a refund. We have helped you find where your included training is, we have offered you extra free training that is usually reserved for higher tier customers, and we have offered to extend your results guarantee window so that you may have time to use and learn from these resources. You have not responded to us directly and are refusing the support and help we offer. We will happily still do all of the above and will earnestly provide you will all the support you need, but in order to receive that support you do need to accept the training or give us a call with your specific concerns so that we may respond to them. We cannot give assistance if you will not reach out with your questions and are unwilling to use the support department/onboarding classes.Initial Complaint

I was told I was getting a full refund on Oct 1, 2023 because they lied about their location and lenders. I asked for a receipt showing the credit, they refuse and I still did not get any monies.Business response

This claim is outright false. You were told that processing your refund request would take a few business days. When you did not instantly get what you wanted you made threats against our staff including informing them that you would "find them personally". because of these threats you have been banned from our platform. In reality your refund has gone completely through after a few business days, exactly as promised, and you currently have a receipt in your email. You also had emails from our staff stating directly that your refund was in process and that it just simply takes time. This is a blatant attempt to punish our company/staff for not being able to force ************* faster, even though processing times are out of our control and are set by the processing company and by your bank.Initial Complaint

I paid a significant amount of money In May ********************************************************************************************* transaction fees on each job. However, it was not disclosed to me at any point that my customers would be obliged to a transaction fee (or loan origination fee). This was incredibly frustrating and felt intentionally deceptive. I reached out to the company immediately and asked them to clarify. They were unwilling to cancel or refund, or even admit their deception.Business response

Hi there, I do believe the cause of this upset is a basic misunderstanding about what ********* does and does not do as a company.
********* is a software company that also provides training and consulting services. Our software gathers offers from dozens of different lenders and presents them to our clients applicants in one 90-second process. ********* is not the lender - we are not involved in the actual lending process at any point. ********* does not set the rates, does not set the terms, and does not charge any fees other than our annual subscription fee.
The rates, terms, and the addition of any fees are completely at the discretion of the lenders and are based entirely on the financial profile of the applicant at hand. The vast majority of our lenders do not charge origination fees, but any loan offers that do have origination fees are clearly marked in order for the applicant to have all the information to make a decision. It is possible to simply decide that none of the offered loans are in the applicants best interests with no damage to the applicants credit score and no fee of any sort.
When looking at this clients' account it is notated that the only two applications that had been run at the time they came to us with this concern were not good financial candidates for our group of lenders. This is likely why they were given offers with origination fees included as many lenders use this as a protection policy with higher risk applicants.
Again, ********* is not a lender and so had no part in this decision, takes no part or profit from these fees or interest, and cannot change or control any part of an offer. What we can do is present a clients' applicant with a clear list of options - with any possible fees and interest clearly listed - and then allow them to make the best choice for themselves.

Most of the clients who need financing are going to be similar to these clients. Those two people who applied with *********, found better offers without origination fees through lendingtree.com.Your sales pitch to me was that you can offer the best rates and options, especially for less qualified borrowers. There also should be an option to get a refund if it was in fact not a good fit. Which it wasnt and we figured that out almost immediately.

In order to ensure that our sales team is being as open and clear as possible, it is a mandatory part of our sales process for the representative to email any possible client our "Results Guarantee" which lays out very specifically our rules for refunds. We do this so that if our results guarantee seems unfair or a bad fit for the individual they can see that up front, very clearly, and can choose to not move forward. You were emailed this on 5/24/23 before moving forward with processing your card and responded to have us proceed with the sale.This guarantee reads: ********* offers a Results Guarantee: if you are not satisfied with your ********* membership after reviewing the included training materials and submitting ten customer applications without a successful project funding, we will provide a full refund if requested within the first thirty (30) days of your membership.********* has this guarantee to keep things fair between us and our customers. We expend a number of costs when we sign someone up, create and host their portal, and provide them with support. As a businessperson I am sure you can see that it would not make any sense for us to pay out these costs without customers at least promising to give us a fair chance to provide our service. This is why we ask for at least 10 discrete applications within a reasonable amount of time (30 days). If after 10 applications we really could not help a single one of the ten find financing, we are happy to admit we might just not be a good fit for your clientele and return the start up fee.It was four months in to your subscription that you reached out to us to explain that you were unhappy. We explained the above to you and your success manager offered you training and help, which you declined. We are still absolutely happy to provide this training and support through the end of your paid subscription, even if you do not renew (which is what we have you set for now). We want you to get wins with ********* and will do all we are able for the rest of your time as a customer!Initial Complaint

We are a solar battery manufacturer and installation company. I submitted my information to the company and they said they had vendors to finance batteries. The last customer who applied called me and said he received a reapproval, but the lender wanted a car as collateral . I paid $1500 for this service that their website says and I quote. ********* specializes in helping contractors close more jobs through financing. ********* makes it easy for contractors to close more jobs, close bigger jobs and get paid. when I reached out to their management. ************** responded and said in an email. Our system just isn't built to do those types of loans. The banks we work with don't make those types of loans. Our banks collateralize personal loans on the platform with a vehicle title. That is not what I purchased and they don't disclose this vital piece of information on their website.Business response

I want to start off with my apologies that our team member was not as clear as he could have been in the last email interaction they had with this customer. While it is unfortunate that our team member phrased things in a way that were upsetting or confusing in his latest email, I have gone through this account thoroughly and verified that ***************** was given a full and accurate description of our offerings and abilities and agreed to use our platform fully educated. We have this knowledge both from recorded calls and in contemporaneous notes from his salesman. He was given very specific information about our ability to help with solar companies of any sort and chose to move forward. This customer has also already completed more than half of his subscription and has received $12,000 in funding through our program - more than making his subscription payment of $1,500 back. Per our terms of use, we cannot offer refunds to those who have had funded clients. This was also explained to the customer on a recorded line at the time of sale. We have, though, turned off any automatic renewal per the customers request.Customer response

the company doesnt address the complaint or the approval that asks for a title of a vehicle. In addition the customer tried accepting the offer for $12,000 was the same customer who was asked to provide a vehicle title . Lastly if the customer was funded as you say where is the referral fee Im to receive per our agreement? There is no referral fee because the customer never was funded.
I have a series of emails which show how I was sold one thing and now how enhancifys lenders per their own email from their agent do not support solar as I was told they did originally.I have since spoken to the lender the customer was given a pre approval with to confirm what I was told by **** with *********.

********* is the technology solution that connects our customer's clients with 25+ different lenders on behalf of their businesses. We are not the lenders ourselves and we cannot control the offers given, nor can we change them. Of our many lenders, only a few ask for security - those that do only take certain things as security. These items are selected by these lending companies and we cannot control what they are or if they are asked for. The most common security asked for is a car title or a home's equity, but we cannot promise that any one specific item or items will be acceptable to any specific lender.
The purpose of our software is to give our customer's clients options - those options will vary widely based on the amount asked for and the applicant's personal financial profile. If no offers are acceptable for any reason, it is perfectly permitted to simply not take any of them. It will unfortunately be the case that sometimes a client's customer is not creditworthy or will ask for more than lenders are willing to give for their income level, and so they will have either very limited, poor, or no offers - this again is outside of *********'s control. We do our best to help educate our business owners through webinars, videos, FAQs, access to a personal success manager, and more so that - even if they not get offers for one individual they are able to get offers for more and more of their customers over time.
In regards to the commission payment, the only reason the customer has not received it is because they did not fill out the appropriate forms in their dashboard for us to make the deposit. We stand by our commissions and will gladly still make the $50 deposit if he were to go online to his Dashboard and fill out the correct information. Simply email us at ********************* once that information is updated and we will make sure that it is paid.
We were excessively clear with the customer through both email and recorded calls that our loans are often not a good fit for large solar loans and that we do not work directly with any solar-specific lenders, but that we can sometimes be a fit for the smaller-dollar items that come as accessories to solar. In fact, our sales representative made an extra point of bringing this up on his phone call with the customer and notating the account in order to avoid this exact misunderstanding. We can see where some of the later conversations with your success manager were not as clear as they could have been. We apologize deeply for that and have worked to change our training and coaching methods in order to avoid future lack in clarity. But, we do feel comfortable in saying that this customer was fully apprised and warned of our abilities up front when it comes to solar lending and chose to work with us anyway.Initial Complaint

Date of Transaction: 4/14/22 Payment: $1349 ************ stated if gives financing to customers that are in the contracting business. I was looking for something like this and called them. They stated that they ************** to all types of credit along with 0% for credit worthy customers. I had 2 customers fill out the application and both had 800+ credit rating and was offered 24%+ which they were not happy but insulted. I called ***** (MGR) immediately and told him my concern and asked for a refund because I cannot send any other customers to them with this kind of percentage. Keep in mind I was told good credit customer would be in the 4-7% range which I was happy with. ***** asked me to give him 24 hours to review my conversation with there sales rep and he would get back to me. He did call me back the next day and apologized for his salesman because he stated things that were quite a stretch and he understood why I would want a refund. Then he asked me to give it one more try and if things didn't work our they would give me a total refund so I did, trying to take my emotions out of it and give them one more chance. So recently I finally had a customer look into financing with ********* and he said no way he was working with them. So I proceeded to call ***** to cancel and get my money back but ***** had a total different attitude and said its been to long and they will do nothing at this time after I did exactly what he asked me to do. As you can imagine I was not happy but he said that's their final answer. I told him I was going to turn them into the BBB and he stated go ahead we don't care. So here I am sending this to you to see if I can help stop this scam. If you have any question feel free to contact me as I will cooperate with you in any way I can. Below I gave you a disired resolution, one was refund if possible, but the most important is to stop these people or hinder their ability to take advantage of other companiesBusiness response

***, while we do have financing offerings for all types of credit as well as 0%, it seems you had more of an issue with our refund policy and the claimed rates. I was personally able to look through your account and notice your customers both received APRs much lower than you claim here. *****, your CSM, went above and beyond to ensure you had an opportunity to run more applicants and help grow your business using financing options. We are in business to help our customers see success and I believe ***** displayed this by offering your business an extension on our full refund policy of 10 applicants leading to zero fundings. He even went as far as agreeing with you to at least attempt another financing application in which he would assist. You failed to bring even one new applicant in which an expert could assist you to help earn you business while adding revenue to your company. Instead, you reached out months later claiming we were a scam and threatening to report us and leave negative reviews. Our company helps countless businesses daily and ***** is one of our most highly regarded ***'s with dozens of positive reviews mentioning his work by name. Its unfortunate this experience led us here because despite what you mention we truly do care about our customers and our reputation.
