I have been a customer of HCM for 35 years and ever since COVID, the quality of their products has deteriorated DRAMATICALLY! For my program, I am to receive new hair every two months and half the time, they dont have the custom product that is to be made for me, so they give me just whatever they can scrape up that they may have in stock. Even when the hair that was made for me is delivered, the quality is so bad, I have to return it, and they refuse to give me any kind of a refund. I highly recommend that anyone seeking help with hair replacement, does NOT do business with these people!!!Review from Bernie N

I was told the records did not show that the hair I sent out for repair in March of 2023 had never returned. One year later !!!! Although my stylist continually checked to see if it had been returned and it was in the system they will not honor my request. Not even offering any type of partial reimbursement !!!! I have been a loyal customer for 8 years here in Fl and previous to that in Ct. I stayed with the company throughout the covid shut down and would think that HC international would have some understanding for its customers. I am highly disappointed that the corporate office is not able to accommodate my request for reimbursement of a $370.00 hair piece that I bought and paid for but never had the opportunity to use ... This is not fair to treat a loyal customer, I'm moving out of state and there are no HC in the area I'm moving to otherwise I would have stayed with the company.... Now I'm not sure if I would with the way this has been dealt with...Review from Frank O

Be careful and wary of this business as they promise you the world and you'll get short changed as soon as you walk through the door. Not only did I get cheated out of $8,000.00 plus but I also got a staff infection of which I ended up at my local urgent care treating me for severe bumps and skin lacerations on my scalp. I urge anyone considering this treatment in my opinion please save your money and better to stay bald and be proud of who you are.Thank you and your welcome to anyone reading this.Review from Diego G

Dear Club for Men.Upon purchasing the *** Extreme Hair Therapy on 4/07/23 I had high hopes for significant progress and results. However, my journey with Hair Club for Men has been marred by numerous issues, including inconsistencies in product delivery, missed appointments, unsanitary treatment rooms, and subpar customer service, My first appointments were marred by inconsistencies, including missing treatments, delays in receiving essential products such as the Minoxidil solution, sprays and vitamins. The cleanliness of the treatment rooms was also concerning, with furniture showing signs of neglect and unhygienic conditions.From the outset, there were discrepancies in the products I received, as I was provided with a laser hat different from what was agreed upon. Moreover, the promised documentation of progress through pictures was often neglected or delayed due to equipment malfunctions or lack of training. Furthermore, the level of professionalism exhibited by your staff, including managers not returning calls and providing misleading information, has been deeply disappointing. Instances of double bookings and unfulfilled promises regarding product delivery have added to my frustration.Most recently, during my appointment on February 17, ****, despite the attentive service of a new receptionist named *****, issues persisted. Notably, the office manager, ******, displayed a lack of accountability and transparency regarding ongoing concerns, including the unavailability of certain products and discrepancies in the package I purchased.***********************Review from Enrique C

I urge all customers to be very careful when signing contracts with hair club for men, my Experience Was horrible Which happened after signing contract with them. My loan was used up in the first 12 months, After this 12 month Period Their prices rose astronomically. Where it was unaffordable from me to keep up with their payments. Therefore, I had to withdraw from that program. Leaving me out in the cold. Meaning While paying my loan, I still had 2 come out-of-pocket to pay for additional services. While paying my loan, I still had to come out-of-pocket to pay for additional services. Which meant going back every 3 weeks.for cleanups and haircut and new hair piece Which again drove cost to appoint that was unaffordable fast forward today they have me in collection's to recover funds they used up with in the 12 month period that left me very unhappy and unsatisfied !Review from Earl M

I paid them for 12 months without receiving one hairpiece. I finally stopped paying them after realizing they never had any intention of helping me. Now I will try to recoup the $3900 they tricked me out of.Review from Christine M

They run this business as a scam by giving false information! I was clearly told if I am not satisfied I could drop off within the first 6 months but when I tried to do that it seems like I am bound with a service I am not happy with for them to make money ! The treatment was causing me health issues and none of that matters . I am suing and disputing this .Review from Ellie B

I subscribed to texts for a complimentary consultation in December. I unsubscribed the same day because I was no longer interested. It has been almost a month and while I no longer receive texts, HairClub has not stopped calling me at all hours of the day, and are in violation of anti-spam laws.Review from Rosemary K

I just can't begin to tell you what I have gone through. I have been a client there for quite a few years. What I received a couple weeks ago for $1500, you would just want to die!! Rest assured I will also take them to Court if this is not taken care of. If you look on the site, they have lawsuits left and right. And now of course I'm not getting any answers and nobody's responding back to me, utterly ridiculous!!!Review from Ricardo P

This company made allot of promises to my wife and failed at all of them ,she was also charged a substantial amount for a special hair growth hat and hair service August 2023. What they provided was horrible and not what was expected or promised. We met with the manager Sept 2023 , and voiced our disappointment. He agreed to refund an small amount $1720 which was still not fair, but we agreed to cancel and accept a credit to the account we were financing with Comenity , this was never processed and credited to us. I have tried several times to reach ************** with no success. We have not even gotten a call back from him or his staff. I need BBB to help us resolve this before taking this further with legal action . Be aware and make sure you get what you pay for.
