In December 2021, my mother ******************************* fell and broke her hip at a nursing (*******************) home in ***********, ** which ended up leading to her being taken off of dialysis and passing away. I was referred from *************** to Senior Justice Law Firm who thoroughly reviewed my case and told me on several occasions that it would be something they could handle. After getting several documents notarized and signing releases and other documents I waited over 3 months to hear back from Senior Justice Law Firm who had already sent out a letter to the nursing home saying that they were representing me in the case. After 3 months of not being able to get In contact with Senior Justice Law Firm I received a call from them saying that they looked at my moms medical records and informed me they don't want to go through with the claim anymore because "It said in the report that my mother stated that she got up to go to the bathroom and fell herself so she's at fault". My mom was suffering from a severe TBI and foot surgery complication which is why she was being treated and had an order stating she was to be supervised at all times. This not only set back my time frame for being able to file a new wrongful death claim but also caused me alot of stress as well while waiting to hear back for months to just be told that this was all my mother's fault and they can't help. The experience was not professional and it didn't make complete sense to me how it all ended up turning out the way it did when at first I was told this was serious and they would help.Business response

Hello ****************. I regret that we could not accept your case, however, I am surprised by the negative review, given the frequent communication we had during the 2 months that we had your case. As we discussed, these cases must be reviewed and approved by an expert witness in order to be prosecuted. As soon as we received the negative expert review, I personally called and explained in great detail why we had to reject the case. You responded "You're not the only law firm to deny case so I understand." It is surprising that, months later, you decided to leave us a negative review. I would respectfully ask that you double check that we are the law firm you intended to leave the negative review for, since it seems like you spoke with multiple firms.
