I purchased a flooring type at the recommendation of **** the sales person after a phone conversation describing my needs. I explained that I would have pets but there were not currently pets. I explained I wanted quality and that pricing was not the only consideration. I would extend my budget accordingly. He told me he had " just the flooring type". I went to the showroom and he showed me a laminate wood and explained how durable and pet safe and long-lasting it was. he said you could do anything to it but if I was able to damage it that it had a minimum 1 year warranty for ANYTHING and and even after that Georgia Carpet and Rile would honor it. I agreed and paid for the flooring with no financing. I paid cash. Three weeks after install the floor began to lift. I called and called and was given excuse after excuse. Finally after threatening to do a chargeback on my debit card and seek legal action through my job they sent someone out. **** said it looked like a manufactures issue and **** said it was completely covered. No results after a long period again. I called weekly and spoke with ***** and ****. Finally **** gave the issue to the " supervisor" who blamed pets. I explained there were no pets at the time of install of afterward for almost two months. He used a light and said it showed pet ammonia. The light also will fluoresce for other items such as cleaning products. He insisted it was pets but was going to " Lie" to the manufacturer to get me coverage. Lie? What about my warranty? Integrity bells rang in my head. He sent a installer who also said manufacturer issues and that the product was inferior and he would never have installed it. He spent times to correct " what he could" but knew the floor was going to have more issues. For the months of aggravation, lies at every level and poor customer service I want a refund to apply to have the floors redone elsewhere. Three people told him it was a manufacture issue and **** the supervisor refused to listen.
