On August 22, 2024, PB purchased a used 2006 ****** Camry Solara from Auto Approval. A down payment of $900 was made and the contract was to begin on September 6, 2024 with the first installment payment due. ** purchased this used vehicle and did not purchase an outside warranty. Our vehicles are sold As-Is. PB called our lot the Monday prior of having an issue with the vehicle and was transferred over to the repair shop, which is a separate company from the finance company. The payment was not made on time and the office continued leaving messages and sending over the payment link to her phone. ** also did not insure the vehicle at the time of purchase nor by the first payment. Thus, a CPI fee was placed on her account until she provided proof of that full coverage insurance that we required. Calls continued to be made to PB and messages left. When PB did call, she wanted her payment to be pushed to the end of her loan as she was low on financial funds and could not make the payment until several weeks later. We stated to PB that, unfortunately, we could not do so and reminded her that she was a bi-weekly account. She was also informed of the insurance. She was very adamant that she did indeed had insurance. We called her insurance on another phone with her on speaker phone to assure her, once again, that she did not insure our vehicle. Several minutes later, she called on 3-way with the insurance to add it to her account. PB was repossessed for default of her loan for payments. Therefore, Auto Approval will not be refunding any monies to PB.

** purchased a 2008 Mercury Mariner on 7/19/2023 from our company. Upon purchasing the vehicle, she was told by the salesman that the tires were marked with an 'X' indicating that they would need to be replaced. As we do not dispose or sell tires at out dealership, she was directed to purchasing used tires at a nearby location. Customer than *********************** her 'As-Is' purchase with an out of state license. She told the salesman she had recently moved to ******* for her job. The salesman stated that we do not finance any vehicles out of state, so she was much aware of this. After several months, ** came to the office complaining about a leak from her sunroof. The repair shop next door inspected the leak and concluded that debris was blocking the sunroof from closing completely. The removed the debris with an air hose and the sunroof was able to shut. The customer purchased a used car "As-Is' with no warranty. Auto Approval will not be refunded any monies on this account.

I purchased my car through finance on February 23rd 2023. I put down $2,500 on the car. I was supposed to start making payments March 17th for $100 a week even though I get paid bi-weekly.. my tag and title was supposed to be included in my purchase. Friday March 3rd 2023 I supposedly had a payment of $241.69 for tag and title which they wanted me to pay weekly for the whole month of March or by March 24th 2023. I questioned making payments on the tag and title on Monday because it didn't make sense to be making separate payments and car payments on top of that. ***** the office manager called me on Monday stating that I had to make a payment $482.58 for my car. I asked her why do I have to make a payment already and she stated that that's part of my car payment already. I was working so I was not able to come in because they are not taking payments over the phone supposedly. Tuesday I went to go get the money out the bank and go to speak with them and pay in person but they were closed at 4:39 p.m. Wednesday morning I had any plans to go to the office before I had to work and when I came outside my car was gone. I thought my car was stolen just to be discovered that they took my car for not coming in to make a payment for tag and title. When I went to speak with **** he was very nasty telling me I defaulted on my first payment and they were not going to keep my car financed they were canceling it effective immediately. I stayed to them what was going on and I also was in the hospital with my loved one and he told me all I'm making is excuses and kept pointing to paperwork that he takes to the wall staying no excuses here. After speaking with ***** about it she told me to ask **** again and talk to him to see if he will move forward. My girlfriend spoke with one about the situation and he eventually seemed more open about giving me my vehicle back but ***** said no. I asked for my $2,500 back because it has not been a month and they said no. Now I have no vehicle and I'm out of my money. Frauds ????

Business Response /* (1000, 13, 2022/07/22) */ RE: #XXXXXXXX SR (ircjased a 2012 a 2-12 Kia Rio from Auto Approval on 3/31/2022. She purchased the vehicle As- IS with no warranty. The day after purchase, she received an oil change AA complete Auto Repair. Any repair or service work that was done would be appointed to them. That is a seperate company from Auto Approval. On 6/3/2022, her account became deliquent. We attempted numerous ties to contact her at the number given but it was disconnected. The vehicle was spotted several times driving around and she kept it in the residence garage out of reach. On 6/28/2022, her reicle was redeemed due to deliquency of her accouont. It was redeemed t a different address that was given by a potter. The driver's side window was done, and the vehicle was unlocked. We do not have to call a tow truck to repossess a vehicle nor do we have to knock on a door for the customer to be made aware of such. That would be disturving the peace. Also, we are not responsible for any belongings lef in the vehicle. SR's belongings were bagged, and a fee was to be paid. We did not tret her as trash as she states. When she came into the office, she was accompanied by a friend and pid the fee. She looked through eash bg to makesure everything was in it. The net morning she called the office accusing everyone of takigher iPads. There is no need to anyone here to take anypersonal propertyof a client. She went even to the point to accuse the children of the finance manager who were not even intown when the vehicle was taken. Unfortunately we will not be issuing a refund to SR. She was late on her payments and her vehicle was repossessed.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/04) */ RE: #******** *. ***** purchased a 2007 Toyota Camry from Auto Approval on 3/3/2022 with a down payment of $900 down. Her first payment for her installment contract was to begin on 3/11/2022. Upon purchasing the vehicle, she was asked to provide a valid driver's license and an insurance card. She provided the salesman with insurance documentation from National General as her insurance. Our company does not make fraudulent insurance. We refer customers to insurance companies to get them insured. She was told at the point of sale that she would have to put the car on full coverage insurance with us listed as the lienholder on the policy or have the option of being put on CPI insurance with our company and maintaining PIP and liability on her own. Her first payment was due on 3/11/2022. On 3/18, *. ***** was called at the number she listed, and we left a message. On 3/21, we called again, and she stated she would be in that day. She called back a few minutes later and said she would be in on 3/25 with her payment. She was told that on that day,she would owe $607.04 for the payments that were due. She was asked why, and we explained her payment contract and noted that the salesman gave her that information broken down on a piece of paper. She stated that she had thrown that paper away. Note that the payment schedule is listed on the financial contract and on the promissory note agreement. She then in turn stated that she would need to come in before Friday and bring in some money. On 3/25, she was called again in which she stated that she would be off her job at flOp, and she would be headed to our office. Our office is open until 5:OO p every Friday. That day we waited until 5:l5 p for her payment or call and she did not come in. Due to her failure to abide by her contract, she was in default other loan and her car was repossessed. Every customer signs a repossession agreement stating that if they default in their loan, their car will be repossessed. There were no payments made on the account nor did she add the vehicle onto her insurance policy. We will not be making a billing adjustment on this loan, nor will she be given her car back. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/04/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I came to the business twice 2 different weeks sat there for 4 hours not once did someone say my bill was due 2 weeks later the 21st I was told my bill reached 600 I was in disbelief on 3/25 I was supposed to come back up there unfortunately child protection service was at my house and Tampa police I have police reports also I forgot but my intentions was to drop a payment off the following day I called they was closed so I went to work my instacart back everything gon my purse everything I got 2 calls not once did I ignore them not once did I run I didn't get a chance nor did they call me or let me know before it reached 600 which was fine I had the money to pay

On 2/4/2022 I purchased a 2010 mercury mariner, I put $900 down on this this car. The next day which was 2/5/2022 the check engine light came on so we took the car to auto zone. I asked them to see why the light came on they said we needed a gas cap, I purchased the gas cap for $23.99 put the gas cap on and the light went off.then on 2/11/2022 I'm diving the car to the store the engine light came on we got a oil change the tire light came on the battery light came on and then the car completely stopped and turned off. I had to get jump at the store.after we got the car back to my house my boyfriend said it needed a new battery so we went to Walmart to get a new battery,we put the battery in the car drove it for 30 mins and the car went completely dead again killing the brand new battery we just bought at Walmart for $121.00 so now we broke down in the middle of the road because the car won't start.we ended up pushing the car out the road into the grass where the car had to stay overnight.on 2/13/2022 around 1:30pm I called a tow truck company to come tow the car back to my house I had to pay him $75.00 I also had my mechanic to come look at the car just to tell me they alternator is gone on the car.I tried calling auto approval but they was close. So I had to wait until Monday morning which was 2/14/2022 to get in contact with Juan who was salesman of this car. When I spoke with Juan at 9:00am I told him the car wouldn't start we bought a new battery and had it check by a mechanic Juan told me I would be responsible for the payment if they fixed a car they sold me with a bad alternator and I also would be responsible for getting the car towed to the dealership.I simply told him I couldn't afford that and wanted a refund. Juan replied it don't work like that I'm not refunding you your down payment of $900. I then asked him should I get a lawyer he replied you can't add the alternator you can't afford a lawyer and hung the phone up on me.
