New HVAC system installation on February 2023. Just found mold in the house early September. After tearing down drywall to install a new HVAC system in my house they left those holes open. After the HVAC installation the humidity in the house increased significantly. We called them about this and they blamed the timing of the AC fan. They didn't disclose that the air handler was now sitting in the closet with an open ceiling into the attic. This has created condensation and moisture in the attic, resulting in mold. After the mold remediation found the culprit we called Gembecki. They came to the house and admitted that those holes in the drywall should've been sealed. Still they won't assume responsibility over the mold situation. After paying thousands for a new HVAC install now I have mold in my house and a $3200.00 bill for the remediation. We’ve asked them for a refund of the mold remediation or at least a portion of it (if they don’t feel like including the aesthetic components like crown molding). Last time we talked they said they had nothing to do with the mold problem.Customer response

Business called me back and helped pay for the mold repair. Issue has been resolved.
