I placed an order online on 7/25/24 (confirmation email received at 9:13 a.m. Eastern Time). A few hours later I found out my daughter had received the item as a gift already, so I went back to the website and tried to cancel it. The Contact Us page wasn't working, so I used the Chat feature to request a cancellation. The chat was initiated the same day at 17:44 GMT (1:44 p.m. Eastern) and the cancellation was confirmed in the chat. (see chat thread attached - which I sent to myself from the Oduubo website). After a few days went by and I didn't receive any follow up email, I went to the website to initiate further communication. Since then, all communications I've received refuse to accept the cancellation, stating it was past their 6 hour cancellation policy (which is ridiculous to begin with), but also untrue. My chat communication took place 4.5 hours after the initial order. I have exchanged multiple emails asking for the matter to be escalated and that the item not be shipped. The customer service representatives have not once acknowledged the chat conversation. All requests have been rejected and they have shipped it and notified me that I will not be able return and request a refund.
