we have been going to the **************** and we saw this man selling *******s his name is ***** and we started talking about *******s so he gave me his name and email and phone number he gave us a quote the thinner one was $500 and the thicker one was $900 I told him what I wanted. I wanted 6 cats and me and my husband and he said he could do it. I told him it will take me about two weeks to get the pictures together so I got the pictures together and i called him he told me to send them to him so I did. ***** sent me an email with the pictures of the thinner one and the thicker one and the prices. so we went back to the mall and talked and I told him we be back at the mall next week to give him half of the money down ***** said ok. the next week he gave him half down. he said it would be ready in a few days we told him we would be by to pick it up Saturday. so when we got ready to go pick up the ******* I got the receipt and saw he charged $999 for the ******* I told my husband and we talked and I said I am going to confront him about this so I did I asked ***** why he charged us $999 first he told us that is a different ******* for $900 then he said you know the cost of everything going up. I was not going to get into it with him I just said I will dispute the $99 and tax. now I just don't trust the guy. we ask how much this was going to cost and he told us $900 and it cost us ********. ***** is not telling people what all the costs are now I don't trust the guy. if I have to go to court for the $99 and sales tax I will. $105.93

This gentleman by the name of ***************************** wanted a price quote via email on 10-28-2022 in which the Titan's price used to be $900 at that time. The price went up on some of our products (including the one he ultimately bought) by $99.99 after that email and before he committed to purchasing this item due to unforseen businesss costs since his first quote. He didn't commit to the Titan cube he wanted when the price was cheaper so this is not our fault. I explained to him in person that the prices have went up since that email and I also have video and audio proof from my surveillance cameras of that conversation. He knew the total price going in for the adjusted increased amount of $99.99 and other cost's attached to his receipt ... he still purchased it on 11-12-2022. He made this purshase intitially as a layaway for the agreed amout of $999.99 and the extras he got as shown in my screenshot for a total of $1,476.55 that I provided in this response. He also agreed and accepted my response as he paid his layaway in full and picked up his items as promised. Now he wants to complain? It is my opinion that he is confused or want's to purposely cause a problem for me because he couldn't afford this piece in the first place. Any questions, I can provide video and audio evidence as well. We also would charge a much higher fee for his level of customization but did not do that and we delivered a beautiful product too. -End-

*****, the representative for 3D Innovations in ********** has one thing correct, he gave me a quoted price of ****** for the largest ******* he carries and it was on 10/28/22. I emailed him a few times between the 28th and the 5th, in my email to him on the 28th I informed him that I had to gather pictures of my 6 cats and email them to him and that I would see him the 29th to talk about what it is that I wanted as iI brought in the pictures of my cats which in turn he said that he didn't need them as he could use the computer images I sent him the day prior. He sent me an email on the 28th that the cost of the largest ******* would cost me ******, I emailed that I would be in on the 5th of Nov (Saturday) after 4 p.m. and that we would meet him at his booth. We called ***** and ensured that he was going to be there as we were on our way. Once there he showed us a computer image of the ******* and how his associate had arranged them for printing in the *******. We were shown a bar light that made the *************************, we authorized that as well. We were given a total cost of ******** which was high but ****** for the *******, the ****** and the labor and tax, I could see that so I said okay, ***** wanted ****** deposit down and the balance upon pick up (he said that the ******* would be ready the following Wednesday, but we couldn't make it prior to him closing so we agreed to be there that Saturday the 12th of November) deposit was made and we left. On the day of picking up the ******* ********* 12th), I had checked the receipt only to discover that I was charged ****** for the ******* which he had said was going to cost me ******. I arrived at his booth to pick up the ******* and to speak to him about the ***** increase, he showed me the *******, which was great, I had no complaints about it, and he put the ******* into a nice carry container and bagged up the strip ****** I then discussed the additional *****. He looked red and at first said "oh my bad" then said " oh you were looking at the wrong one, attempting to show me the same ******* which I replied  "you only have two large *******s and you sent me the prices of ****** for a thin ******* and ****** for the large *******, then ***** replied that the price had increased by ***** because the cost of everthing going up, he stated that he would give me a discount on any future piece we may buy. I didn't want to argue with him for a couple of reasons, we were in the mall with a large number of people around, and he already had ****** of mine and if I left the ******* I would not get anything back without fighting for it, so I paid the remainder ****** and left. In *****'s reply to you, he stated that I hadn't committed to buying the ******* prior to the price increase, but he (***** had never emailed me any said cost change since we did everything either by email or in person and that it isn't his fault that "he failed to contact me of the cost increase". ***** then goes on to say that he explained that he informed me in person of the price increase and that he has a video and audio of the said conversation. Well, he did explain the price increase on that (12th) day I came to pick up the ******* and only after I questioned him about the ***** without prior notice and as for video and audio of the entire conversation, I say if he has sure recordings, please have him provide it, such a recording will show that only after I approached him of the increase he then acknowledges it, he never mentioned anything prior to that. ***** says that I made a layaway plan, I am not sure if he really understands what the term layaway, it means something paid on a month-to-month basis until the product is paid for in full to the terms agreed. I'm, sure he meant "DEPOSIT". the reason that I did a deposit instead of paying the entire amount up front, I would never trust anyone with ******* without having the product in my hands, this is ******* and I don't know let alone trust anyone with that kind of money. ***** states that I "knew" the total price going in for the adjusted increased amount (i am not sure what he is trying to say, I am thinking that he is attempting to say "that I knew of the adjusted amount" and again I say, show me how he notified me of such an increase in the cost of the ******* since he did "email me the cost, which is considered a WRITTEN ESTIMATE and any increase in cost from the initial estimate must first be agreed upon by the buyer of the product before the company can proceed, proof of this should be something the seller needs to provide since he is making the claim that he informed me. ***** then goes and degrades me by saying that "I am confused" or purposely causing harm to him for something "I couldn't afford" yet he commented to me about my ****** jeans and my Dolce Gabbana tennis shoes ($1000.00) so I know he knew that "the *******" was not the problem., or he says that I need medication and that there are plenty of psychologists here in *******. I didn't belittle the man or make fun of him or say nasty things about this man, that only he has bad business practices and that he clearly made an error or as he said "HIS BAD" when he realized that he had made a mistake in not telling me of the cost increase then hiding it and saying nasty things. My point is this, it is not about the *****, it's the principal, he should have just emailed or called me about the increase and not hide it and then said it's my fault and that I need medication or to see a psychologist.  End story, if he has proof of a dated email to me of the cost increase provide it or the so-called audio/video of him telling me the day I picked up my ******* that there was an increase, but shouldn't that conversation have taken place prior to the ******* being made or when he was then notified by the supplier that the cost had increased, just provide the dated information from the supplier that the increase happened and then on that date, show proof that you informed me of the so-called increase. Either way, I should have been informed of this prior to picking up a finished product. As for my review, everything I said is the truth, "I do not trust you" I do not trust people who lie to me, it's not about the product, the finished product is great, it's about your business practice, if you do not like the review, change your business practice or get out of the business.

      Business response

      02/10/2023

I'll reiterate this again for *****************************, an email was obviously exchanged on October 28th as proven and discussed already in his previous rejected claim to your department. I gave him an ESTIMATED price which did not even include 3D, engravings, tax and the extensive work that was involved with putting his many cats (separate pictures) together in one ******* (which by the way he did not complain about that either) when everything was displayed in person to me after the fact. This said gentleman didn't commit to the total price until November 5th as he said him and his husband had to think about it when we met in person prior. The total adjusted price for everything he wanted including 3D, engravings, the labor for the artwork and the LED light was agreed upon at which point he SIGNED for a layaway plan and made his first payment AGREEING to the terms. Also, this was not a deposit. How we operate our business is not based on deposits if ******* can understand this. We offer layaway plans to our customers who can't afford everything up front which allows them to make payments on their product within a designated time frame, it's not based on whether or not he "trusts people in *******" as he so oddly described. He made the purchase for his items on November 5th and he signed his receipt. I'm not sure what or why he has continued with these invalid claims or why I am continually having to reject his claims. Nobody scammed him for more money. I don't care what "sunglasses" or "shoes" he was wearing as a side note. I'm a friendly upstanding tax paying businessman who maintains very good relationships with our customers and sometimes I have small talk with them, I don't care how much money he or any one of my customers has as I do well for myself and we are not in business to prey on anyone or gauge how much they can or can not afford. We have a strict policy that we always abide by and our prices are very competitive compared to other products in the area. I have never experienced something so erroneous from one of my customers ever since I have been in business until now. I have already displayed all the facts with respect to this but I attached a copy of his receipt with his signature which was given to him too when he made his first payment on the layaway. Any questions please call me at ************.
