I left an $1800+ deposit end of May for a wedding dress that needed alterations. 1-2 weeks later I called the boutique to let them know I would prefer to pick a different dress because the reviews on their alterations are horrible and I dont want to risk having a wedding dress Im not satisfied with. I told them that I did not see a refund policy on the receipt they gave me or on their website. They told me I could transfer my deposit to a different dress and that a manager would reach out to me. The store manager reached out to me two hours later and she said I could not transfer my deposit to a different dress because an invoice was already created so it was too late and I was out of luck. I reached out to the customer service email address and another email address I found in the reviews that someone else left with the concern that this place is unprofessional and should not be trusted with dealing with brides-to-be.
