On 1/11/2024, I entered into a contract with ***************************, owner of Events By Paradise (and several other LLCs) to provide the florals and day-of coordination for my wedding on 5/18/2024.As my wedding approched, ***** failed to show up to the rehearsal that she confirmed attendance to on a previous phone call, and then did not show up or provide the services on the day of my wedding 5/18. She did have florals sent to the venue, 2 hours late, significantly impacting the timeline of my day. She gave me very low-quality florals that were not what we had discussed or agreed upon. ***** never contacted me the whole weekend to share that she was unable to uphold her end of the contract. I reached out to her after the wedding to request a refund, and after several attempts to contact her, she has not responded. After looking into this, I have found 7+ other brides that ***** has done this same thing to. She has a pattern of scamming brides into contracts and then not showing up the day of the wedding or providing products or services that she is contractually obligated to provide. Once she gets a bad review, she opens a new LLC under a different name so that the public can not see the negative reviews on her business.

The owner scammed ** out of $500. We ended the contract prior to services being rendered. The owner is aware and knows she has to refund us our deposit. The owner is refusing to refund my husband and I our deposit, The owner set up appointments for ** and missed every single appointment except for the initial one where we took our money. The owner would go months without answering our phone calls or text messages, stating she is not required to respond to ** until payment is due. We are missing our $500 deposit.

I signed a contract for my wedding flowers with Paradise Petals on January 9, 2022. At the time of signing the contract, the owner, ***************************, was very responsive. On June 20th, I reached out about having her meet me at the wedding venue for a tour in August 11th. She never showed up. I reached out to her by text twice and never received a response. I attempted to call her but her voicemail is full. Her website chat does not lead to any agents. In addition, her website has not been updated since Mothers Day and neither has her voicemail for the business. Upon looking at reviews for the business, it appears that she did not deliver many peoples flowers for Mothers Day and has left other brides hanging. I have continued to reach out to her but have not heard from her. At this point it has been past 120 days since I sent her my deposit and my credit card, Discover, cannot help me with a refund despite me putting in for dispute. They did attempt to reach out to *****, but she did not respond to their request for information. She is evading all of my attempts at communicating with her and not holding up her end of the contract. She has also opened another LLC, in July, called Black Tie Events and has been active on *********

I signed a contract and paid a deposit for wedding planning/ floral and decor for my daughter's wedding scheduled for 2/18/23. Yes, the contract said non-refundable, however, for our first scheduled visit on April 24th, the owner cancelled our meeting via text and then never would return my phone calls or Texts to reschedule. How can I trust her to perform, show up, deliver the items in the future if she cannot show up for scheduled meetings or return phones calls or texts? I paid her a **** deposit for good and services for a future date, so all she has delivered is her time for the proposal/contract and some information on a photographer/ band. I'm am happy to pay her for her time spent so far, but not the full **** for flowers and decor she hasn't purchased on my behalf yet. Apparently through other reviews online she has a habit of collecting initial deposits and then "ghosting" clients and if she does deliver, it's not up to standard. I did challenge the deposit charge on my credit card, but because I signed this contract, she will not refund any portion of the deposit. I understand if it was my choice to cancel, but it was not, it was her. If she were a reputable business then she would have rescheduled. It's been over a month and I haven't heard a word from her. Again, I believe she in bad faith, she has contracts signed, collects deposits and then hides behind the "non-refundable" deposit in her contract to keep the money knowing good and well that clients will not move forward for fear she will not deliver for the actual wedding.

I found Paradise Petals online and placed an order on the morning of Friday, May 6, 2022. There was an option available for 'same day' delivery and I was wanting these flowers to be delivered to my son's Godmother, who lives in ********* (********, **) - in the same zip code as this business. I selected a nice floral arrangement online and paid by credit card. My card was charged the full amount ($149.93 which included an extra charge for same day delivery, which I was fine with). The arrangement was never delivered, despite paying for same day delivery - it's now May 16, 2022 and we are still waiting on delivery. I have tried to call the business multiple times, have texted the number that the recording says to text for 'virtual assistance' and have yet to receive a response. After reviewing ****** reviews, it appears that this seems to be standard practice for this fraudulent business. It is wrong to take people's money and never deliver - NOR respond to their attempts to resolve the issue.

My husband ordered a bouquet of flowers from Paradise Petals for me for Mothers Day. He was charged in full immediately and was assured that they would deliver the bouquet on the day. No flowers were ever delivered. Since Mothers Day, my husband has made numerous attempts to contact this business via mobile phone, text and a landline. No one ever picked up, and he never received a return call. I personally called them and left a message requesting a return call. I have yet to hear from anyone. Additionally, I drove to the location given on ****** as their address. I was told by a receptionist that they have not worked out of that location in YEARS. I understand that people can get overwhelmed, and may find themselves in a position where they are over promising and under delivering. However, once you charge your exorbitant prices, it is your responsibility to make things right if you are not able to make good on your word. At a minimum, I expect a return phone call.
