Terrible service and experience.Had my telluride for 2 months and never fixed the recall ...which can cause the vehicle to catch fire without warning.They all should be embarrassed, and not trusted.Review from Angelina P

I would rate this dealership and their service department zero stars if i could.i have had my 2018 *** soul since august of 2021, I have had nothing but problems with them almost every time i have gone, except for 1 time with *****. They are rude as h*** every time i go in and not to mention the markups they charge for simple repairs. I have only ever brought my car here for oil changes and maintenance unless it is something i can do myself like the brakes or filters. This past month my vehicle started making a loud engine knocking/shuttering sound, i checked the oil and it was completely empty, even though i still another 1k miles to go before my next oil change per *** manufacturing instructions. this happened on a Monday, i did not drive the vehicle again that week until i brought it into the dealership. They ran diagnostics (which i still have not been given the full results of) and told me my entire engine needed to be rebuilt and that it was going to be 15 THOUSAND DOLLARS! The service advisor claimed that i don't have an extended warranty (I do and had to show him the paperwork) and said everything would have to come out of pocket. this past week they claimed the warranty company was requesting a tear down of the engine and that if they decide not to cover it i could be on the hook for $1800 plus the $200 for diagnostics. After checking with the warranty company to see what my options were, and informing them of what *** ******************** has relayed to me, they said they only requested that they check valves and the oil pan and that information they have been giving me is B.S.Moral of the story is, do not buy from this dealership, they try to pull a fast one on anyone that comes and treats their customers horribly. looks like i might have to seek legal counsel to make this issue come to an endReview from Astrid R

We drop off out 2023 Kya Soul becuase it was turning off. My husband went on a Tuesday eventhough the appointment was for Thursday to see if they could do something. They agreed to take the car and in Thursday they called to let us know the problem was with the injectors and that they did not have them and had to order them. Today is Monday and we still do not have our car. My husband called and would have frequently phone hangup and no call backs. They also told my husband that they did not have any lender cars. We only have two cars and my son has been having to pay for Ubber to go to work becuase we have different hours ($25 each way) so I can take the other car to work . My husband has been getting the runaround and it is EXTREMLY frustratING. My husband had to ask friends to bring him each time.Review from Allen C

DeLand Kia does not stand by their vehicles and are dishonest. Bought a used car from them and before I got it home the service air bag light came on. When told about it they did not seem surprised and advise that I take it to a dealer for evaluation. The estimate came in at $1500 and they said there was nothing they could do about it. I’m gonna start by saying Deland kia has the worst customer service and especially the manager called Derek Wright the most disrespectful manger I have ever talk to my kia Sorento was turning off on me on the road almost cost me to get into and accident and no one could take care of it he didn’t wanna take care of the situation at all went in 4 times and no one boughter to take there time to even do a ticket or call the manufacturers to figure it out at all I have to say I pray that who ever gets the vehicle does run into an accident at all. Hope and pray someone in a higher field can read this and take care of this situation I have to give one star to leave a review but honestly doesn’t even deserve a one starReview from Jay A

On 7. 12.2023 at around 1:30pm my wife, kids and I spent over 5 hours at KIA of Deland and all I can is that upper management are jerks! They are very unprofessional, and is a reflection of the company's core value. The sales team are great, patient, and very respectful. I made the mistake of asking the GM (who sits in a elevated desk like a lord) to get close to MSRP on price for a Telluride and the man went ***** Springer(berserk) on me. He kept reminding me that I already agreed to a price that he wrote up in a sharpie...No it was a soft price and I never signed off on any paper work saying that I was locked in. Back story-I left a deposit and waited a month for the inventory to come in. The general manger basically told me hell no that he would not come close to MSRP because he can sell for more to another person...He also said that he did not like how I approached his desk. Said I was pushy…Perhaps. I just wanted his attention. He and I began arguing in the front of the sales floor, and then in service lobby because his bedside manner was atrocious! Our argument got so loud and spirited that another customer waiting in the service area told the GM to pipe down, calm down and for us to take our argument/negotiation to a room...No lie the GM started arguing with the customer sitting down waiting for a oil change that said pipe down...He was arguing with me and another customer simultaneously(***** ******** show). I wasted over two hours of my life arguing for $1000 of which I only got $250 once the GM finally calmed down. Its so unfair that you see one price on the internet(KIA.COM) and then you go into the dealership to buy a new car and they mark the car way over MSRP and then say market, just to kinda bring the price down like they're giving you deal. Its 3 card Monty! The GM and every person in upper management needs to be retrained on what true customer service is! Because they think their **** don’t stink.Review from Jamus E

June 3rd I spoke with Service Rep. Noah about having my Kia dropped off because of the motor extended warranty, and I gave him my name and phone number and he was able to look up the car which is under my name and ex Wife name... He told me that if AAA drops it off and it's after hours they will know where to drop car off. The had actually gotten picked up on June 4th by tow truck drive Martin and explained to him what Noah had explained to me. The car has been going there for all services. I have not received a call from Noah and 3 weeks ago some from the dealership had the car towed without me knowing what the issue was and Derek ****** which is the manager ok for the tow while on vacation is not professional especially, not knowing the whole situation. I bought the Kia from that location. If the CEO of Kia can give me a call back... I have his number and will be leaving a detailed message on his phone which is visible to the public. Now since Derek ****** has my car at the *** ****** company wanting payment for the car and wants to put in auction which Kia still haven't contacted me of the vehicle. So unprofessional on all parts... And if public records for DMV can give info of the vin number how or why didn't Noah or any of the employees do their do diligence of how or who's vehicle it is... Deland Kia Service Department Is horrible. The service advisors have a pick of people they want to serve & be friendly to. I have had to speak to several service managers about the customer service skills & they have not gotten any better. Every time I go I feel uncomfortable & dread getting my car serviced by Kia. I have called corporate & have a long wait to report the issue so I end up hanging up. I'm seriously thinking about selling the car & going to another dealership.DeLand Kia Response

Mrs. ******** was in on 8/31/2022 as a walk-in because her gas door wouldn't open. My service advisor greeter her and came right to me (the service manager), after finding out the issue. I got the vehicle into the shop within 10 minutes and as luck would have it we had the part in stock to fix Mrs. ********s issue. We had her in and out in about 30 minutes. I have not been made aware of any issues with Mrs. ********s visits to our service department. As I said I am the service manager and if she would like I would be more than happy to talk to her about any issues she has had so they can be corrected. I personally helped Mrs. ******** when she was in, and she did not say anything to me about previous visits and seemed thankful that we could get her in and fix her vehicle in a short period of time. I also have not talked to her in the past so I don't know who she talked to but it was not the service manager. I would be more than happy to address any and all concerns that Mrs. ******** has.
