A backflow regulator was needed in my Englewood Water line. I contacted Gem State Wide Plumbing to have the job done. **** came to do the work and install the unit. Within a couple of hours everything was finished and working. **** was very personable and I would request him again next time I need any plumbing work done. Highly recommend both the company and **** for a job that was done quickly and efficiently. And he cleaned up my yard so you wouldn't know anyone had been here.

I called Gem statewide plumbing to fix a problem with my ** system. **** and **** came out and found the drain tube had a clog where it connects to the sink drain pipe. They re-installed the drain tube in a different spot and used a better connection fitting to prevent future colgs. They pumped air in the holding tank to increase the water pressure which also helped my ice maker to work better and fixed another leak in the water line to the ** system. I think they did a great job in the this repair.

In April 2022 I had a slab leak and called Gem Plumbing to look at it. It was decided by me the most cost efficient solution would be to re-pipe the house. I have used them several times in the past with success but this turned out to be an unfavorable situation. The job was rushed on day two which resulted in a what appeared to be a miss communications between the staff working and water came pouring from my ceiling into the house causing water stains. The staff member in charge told me to put some primer and paint over it and it would be fine. I emailed the company and they came back out however they did a terrible job painting and it did not resolve the stains. I had to re-do it myself. They did not clean up the mess they made, it was a total mess especially in my garage. 10 months has gone by and I got a call from the manager in Feb 2023 advising me it needed to be inspected by the county. They allowed the permit to expire. He came on Feb 14, 2023 and I expressed my unhappiness with the job that was done and showed him pictures of the damage. The inspector was disrespectful and condescending to me the entire time. He did tell me that the outside pipes needed a protective coating on them which was not done. Its been a month with no contact from Gem. I called today 3/16/2023 to follow up and was told the inspection report probably got lost in spam mail. The administrative assistant took my number and advised she would contact me to schedule someone to come out to place the protective coating on the pipes. Its like they just dont care. The piping is exposed in my house, they butchered my cabinets, caused water damage to my ceiling, messed up the cover that goes over my attic. I have absolutely no idea what it looks like in the attic. On top of the $6250 they charged me for this horrible job I had to spend another $950 getting the drywall fixed. It took them 10 months to get an inspector and he barely looked at the work. I will not be using Gem plumbing again.
