On July 9, 2024, ********************* (my Wife's) accepted ************************* (owner Integrity Landscape Service) estimate to sod an area of the property located at ***************************** for $1,500. He said to call the office to pay a 50% deposit. ***** called on July 10th and ended up speaking to **** and gave him her **** information over the phone. The card was charged $750 on July 10th. He asked her if she wanted to pay the full amount and she said no. The job was done on July 16th. Upon completion, ******* asked how ***** wished to pay the balance. She said by check because it would save them a transaction fee. She wrote a check for $750 and gave ************************* tip. The check was processed on the same day. On July 16, 2024, she checked her **** statement and noticed a fraudulent charge on her card from Integrity Landscape Service for $750 made on the 16th. At 6:30pm I called **** at ************ and left a message on his phone explaining the discrepancy and asked that he call me ASAP. ***** continued to try to call him until he finally answered her call. She turned the phone over to me and I explained the three payments and that the last on had not been authorized. He denied all responsibility and said I needed to call the credit card company because they made the error. At his request, the same evening I sent a copy of the credit card postings that showed both $750 charges from his company with a request he notify me upon its receipt. He never responded. On July 17th I sent another email to **** explaining that I had spoken to the credit card company and that they said it was not their error. I held off from filing a formal complaint because the charge was still listed as pending. On July 18th the charge changed from pending to processed. I then sent another email to **** at 6:55pm detailing the fraudulent charge and asking it be returned.Business response

We have repeatedly tried to contact ************** concerning his allegations without success! I just found out now we have an incorrect email address. As a result I have just sent him our supporting documentation concerning his payments. ************** has faILED TO SUPPLY US WITH ANY DOCUMENTATION SUPPORTING HIS CLAIM. iT IS NOT OUR INTENTION TO DEFRAUD ANYONE. That simply is not the way we do business! When ************** sends us documentation supporting his extra payment claim to review, we will further address the issue.Customer response

*********************I have sent supporting documentation on July 16 by email which was a copy of the credit card posting showing 2 charges to Integrity Landscaping for $750 each. The latest one on the 16th was pending which was processed on the 18th. I have informed them of this fact also. I will also try to send them the original email.
