  Recently hired Mr ********************** to install and finish new drywall in our home that was damaged by Hurricane ***. The project was completed 3/8/2023. I was charged ******* for labor only. We live in ******* full time so we made a special trip down once he was completed to paint the finished drywall project. Once we arrived and I saw it for the first time, I was at first satisfied until we installed the lights in the rooms and actually saw how bad the project was. There are multiple areas where the seam and corner tape is still exposed. Divots everywhere, nails popping through the texture, globs of drywall mud that were never sanded down, sloppiest cuts around light and plug outlets that even jumbo covers wont cover. When applying the texture, they did not close off the openings into the portion of our home, kitchen and living room that was not damaged and remained our living area which resulted in texture all over those floors, walls ceiling and furniture. They drywalled over a junction box that was for a hallway light. There are seams that are already separating because they were not done properly. Once I realized the extent of the poor workmanship I called Mr ********************** to ask him to please come back and look at the issues. He assured me he would show up the following day to look. He was a no show. I called him several times from Friday to Monday leaving messages but no response. We are leaving Tuesday the 21st to go back to ******* and with no response from Mr *********************** I was forced to hire another company who will be starting on Friday the 24th to sand down everything I paid for and start the whole process over. It will now cost me an additional ******* for this contractor to fix as many of the issues possible. I cant understand with everything people of *************** have gone through since hurricane *** that someone can do this to someone and still sleep at night. Just want others to be warned about this business.

  In regard to complaint #********, this complaint has been resolved.  Mr. ********************** kept up to his agreement to reimburse a portion of the payment back to me and has done so.
