The tall man which is the owner is very racist I came in the to buy a bedroom set & he told the lady that work there I shoulda ordered it couples days ago because I came in to look to see what they had to make an discussion on what I want & I came back couples days later & I kinda felt the racist vibe when I walked in the store

Hi Tee, Your post is absurdly false. We have been in business for over 23 years and have served well over ******* customers in the local Gainesville, *****, Lake City, and surrounding communities. We pride our business in offering name brand mattress and furniture sets at the lowest pricing to a large diverse group of customers. We have Never and will Never discriminate based on race, color, religion, ethnicity, gender, etc. In fact, a large percentage of our customer base are minorities, our store is woman owned, 75 percent of our staff are also minority, and 50 percent of our staff are African American/Black. We serve and employ EVERYONE. Tee, we remember you coming in several times and leaving frustrated as you didn't want to wait your turn as there were several customers ahead of you. We run a very busy operation and it does take time to serve all of our customers, especially on busy days. We help customers in the order they come in. It is not an exact science, but we are sorry if you felt slighted in any way. To unjustly call someone a horrible name because a staff member didn't help you fast enough is ill-considered and unacceptable. This is a major problem in society today in the US. Anyone can use the race card unjustifiably if they do not get their way. When accusations like this occur without merit, unfortunately it can water down or diminish what the term actually means. This is sad, but true. We recommend not senselessly throwing these terms around. Tee, we wish you the best and sorry for any inconvenience we have cause you.

We ordered a bedroom and dining room set from GDF in January 2021. The bedroom set arrived in March 2022 as promised. The dining room set arrived a few days ago and we are still waiting for a few more pieces. We absolutely love our furniture and they were wonderful in the store finding us exactly what we wanted. They were also very clear on the fact deliveries could and probably would be delayed on the pieces we purchased due to manufacture availability. During this wait time they were both very responsive to update requests and their delivery person was very professional and careful while unloading. Pricing was lower than other stores we looked at that couldn't even order the same sets. I would highly recommend this place. Can't wait to get the remaining pieces of our dinette set, and we also plan to replace a new living room set we purchased with another furniture store and purchase the new one from GDF as we are not happy with the quality of the current set.
