Atlantic Roofing was paid 10k deposit in March of 2022 to remove a roof and put on a new seamless roof. The house is a 100 year old restoration. The roof was cut too short and attached to the 100 year old lathe. There was decking missing. The decking that was there and the roof were put on running the same direction as the lathe. This area was hit by hurricane Michael. I can assure you the first tropical storm we have this roof would have come off as a whole. There was nothing holding it to the house. The crew leader, ** *******, was made aware and ran. When a new team was hired we discovered the roof was entirely too short and each end looked like it had been cut with a can opener. So, the metal that was purchased is not usable. I have attempted contacted repeatedly and I am hung up on or ignored. We are seeking a 5k refund for the roof.Initial Complaint

On February 2021. ***** *******, Atlantic Roofer & Exteriors Owner and I made a deal of $9K for 2500 sq feet shingle roof replacing contract(only putting new shingles without removing old ones) Paid $5K up front and agreed paying remaining $4000 in 8X$500+7% interest of 37.50 totaling of $537.50 amonth. Schedduled 03/01/2012 and got fully installed new roof over the existing 20 y.o. roof. Again, no removing old roof.. Job completion date 03/03/2021. Up on installation, shingles packages (20 per bag) were dropped approx 4 feet by the workers dispite me informing and warning the owner for the possible consequences of weight dropping like that from high and creating bang shocks, he respectfully noted , but the act did not stop. House got inner plaster cracks where the drop shocks occured all over. I brought up to owner, he noted, came in and saw all over but, nothing happened. On july roof got on 2 spots leak, Brand New Roof Leaked ! I informed Owner.1 servicemember sent two weeks later, he coulked tar sealer on 2 nails over the middle of rib sections, saying they did not go through so might be reason for leak, ok... Next week in august now , Roof leaks on 1 spot! I called the owner and informed, 2 weeks later Santos,the contractor who installed shingles arrived and fixed the airduck area where the leak he traced and found out it was not sealed properly before laying the shingles. I sent pictures of plaster cracks on request of *****(secretary)waited 6 months and still no response on repairing cracked plasters inside home. The manager ******* (*** *******) *********** called me 12/13/2021 telling me these kind of stuffs happens when bunch of man on roof so we are not going to do anything! I told him in that case my lawyer wife will sue you guys! He immediately turned 180° and told me I have no problem painting the cracked plasters. Then I said , fine. You need to come by my house and assess the damage. It's 01/31/2022 Still nothing, nobody helped! Pathetic *******s!Business response

Atlantic Roofing values *** ****** as customer, which is why we immediately sent our guys onsite when we were notified of a leak at ******** residence.
As per the manipulation of the roofing materials, roofing materials are very heavy. It is a priority for Atlantic to protect our employees. Therefore, employees are trained on how to manipulate these materials carefully to minimize health issues. We apologize for any inconvenience that the heavy roofing materials may have caused at *** ******´s residence. However, as per the contract signed between *** ****** and Atlantic Roofing, Atlantic Roofing will not be held responsible for interior damage caused by the vibration of the roof during install. This is clearly stated in the first page of our contract under Terms and Conditions.

I am rejecting this response because: But I am Victomized in this situation! They caused damages and gtrying to get away from repairing! They also caused my plumming system to rupture! The manager did it with the big truck he drew. I am not the only Victom since the same manager did back up that big truck on the windows of a previous Customer of Atlantic roofers. They are horrifiying the industry and causing tremendous damages then gets away from responsibilities! Unacceptable!!!
