I contacted Bushnell about my damage prescription 3/30/2022. The amount of my prescription was $40 with insurance. Manager Jessa M. was absurdly rude and utterly unhelpful. My prescription was damaged (smashed) when it arrived and Bushnell pharmacy told me that it was ****** problem and if I wanted to get my prescriptions again they would be the full price without insurance ($60 and $80). So I called ***** and opened a claim. ***** required a shipping waiver from Bushnell and Bushnell "claimed" to have sent it, but ***** never received it. ***** told me to have Bushnell send me the letter so I could submit it on their behalf. Jessa M. flat out refused to send me the shipping letter because "they already sent it to ***** and that's no longer their problem". They even claimed it was a HIPAA violation to send me the letter. It would not be a HIPAA violation (I worked in Healthcare HR) as a shipping waiver should not contain any private medical information and either way I am the one who's medical information it would be anyways? It should only have my address and name and say that Bushnell would not also file a claim for the same damage shipment. That is it. When I told this to Jessa M. they told me there was nothing they could/ would do and that there was no one I could escalate this claim to. I believe both to be lies.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/08/05) */ On 3/21/2022 customer purchased her order. Customer's package was delivered 3/23/2022 via *****. ***** also provided tracking information of package to customers email address she provided. On 3/29/2022 customer called stating she had just received her package and that it was destroyed. Requested customer provide picture of package. Upon receiving picture of package it was clear customer had left package outside in weather. Customer admitted to not realizing package was delivered. Advised customer we could not provided replacement or refund for a package that was delivered and left outside. Customer requested on 3/30/2022 we send a shipping waiver to ***** so pharmacy could not file claim on package and she would just file a claim with *****. Management went online to ***** @ ********************************************************************* and uploaded waiver to claim for tracking number. We helped customer to the best of our abilities. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2022/08/08) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The package was not left out in weather. The package was under a covered patio but had clearly been run over or stomped on. There was quite literally nothing not completely smashed inside of it. ***** did not receive the waiver and asked that I obtain it from the shipper and upload it to my claims file myself so they could process my refund. Bushnell would not provide the letter claiming it to be a "HIPAA" violation which is it not. A shipping waiver need not even display any confidential medical information. Originally Bushnell would not send me replacement medication unless I paid the full cost without insurance ($140 more after I had already paid $40 for the unusable medication) Customer service let me know they would not be assisting me in getting a refund from ***** (the ONLY thing I need for my refund to process is the waiver from Bushnell for my own medication) as it no longer was their problem Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2022/08/09) */ Bushnell Pharmacy does not agree with this, but will issue refund to customer with no further correspondence.
