Emmanuel Industries was hired to transport my car on 10/14/22. I receive the vehicle 3days later with the driver door handle broken off. The driver **** lied saying it was like that when he picked up the car eventhough his before pictures taken show that the handle was good. I decide to make a police report about the incident both ****, his manager ******* tried to intimidate me out of doing so by saying if the driver don't leave in 20 minutes from where they delivered the car they would charge $100 for every minute he is there since police took a while to arrive. They did not want me to make the report to have proof that the incident happen. After the police report was made the manager ******* said they would take ownership for the damage and file a claim for me to get reimbursed and would received a claim number within 24 hours. About 2 days later I reach back out to him because i never received a claim number or a website to look up the status of the claim only to be told by him it was denied. I ask how can something be denied when i NEVER receive any information about this so-called claim being submitted. His response was his insurance deductible $2500 so in other words their insurance won't cover the damage which is roughly $343 to replaced the handle. It's been over a week and after going back and forth with the manager ******* the most he said they willing to compensate according to him for my troubles is $50 which in an insult because that doesn't begin to make a dent in paying to repair the damage. I even contacted the company EASY AUTO that set up the deal with ******* Industries within 24 hours of receiving the car damage and that company themselves didn't have much empathy for what was done because got told serveral times would be look into and get a call back; never received a call back to this day. I personally feel both companies only cared that they already got paid and no-one wanted to take accountability for the damage that happen.

      Hello Customer Experience Team:
We received this complaint from you about this complaint ID *******.
Please remove this frivolous claim from our account.

We are a Car Carrier trucking company.  We received a job to transport a car for ******************* When Driver **** arrived at pick up location and inspect the vehicle.  Driver was informed that he can not open the driverside door to get in to the car because the door handle was broken and not functioning properly.  Immediately we told the shipper we can not transport the vehicle if we can not access the car from driver side; most importantly, we do not want to take the liability for something that is already damaged.
Shipper agreed and gave us an okay and verbal release of liability to access the vehicle from driverside, and they will not hold us liable for the door handle damage.
Story totally changed when we deliver the vehicle to Sharsa W.  She only admitted informing us the door handle was already damaged, and we need to be held accountable if additional damage is there.
Again, we reminded her that we would not transport the vehicle in the first if we already know we will be getting a claim for something already damage.  The only reason we agreed to transport the vehicle is because we received the verbal release of liability relieving us from additional damages to the driverside door handle.
It is impossible to damage door handle from our driver trying to get in to the driver side to start the vehicle, load it onto our truck; open the door again to off load it.  our driver only touched the door handle less than 3 times simply to load it and unload it.
Our driver always proceed with extra caution when loading and unloading, and complete a detail inspection before we do anything.
Our picture indicated the door handle was still intact to the driver side door when we were doing the initial inspection.  Glue that shipper used to glue the door handle did not last very well when driver try to get into the vehicle to unload it.
The bottomline is that ******* was fully aware of the damage already existed, fixed it incorrectly; warn us about the potential damage to the existing problem, gave us verbal release of liability and changed her mind.
We should not be responsible for something that had already been damaged with improper quick fix, received agreement from ******* it is okay to enter the car through faulty door handle knowing that it would be damaged again.

      Thanks
